Base Class: Barbarian
Your path was not entirely your choice. Through some means or another, whether hubris, folly, or plain bad luck, you became infected with a sickness of dragons. Slowly you change to become more monstrous, a scaled abomination. Your rage seems to speed up this transformation, rapidly covering your body in hideous scales, but also granting you their power.
Draconian Infection
Your infection has made you more draconic in nature. Starting at 3rd level when you take this path, you gain the following benefits.
- You gain the ability to read, write, and speak draconic.
- When calculating unarmored defense, your dexterity modifier is replaced by your proficiency bonus.
- Whenever you go into a rage, the weapon you are holding in your main hand morphs with the scales on your body. While raging, your main weapon cannot be dropped or thrown, however your offhand remains free to function normally.
Chromatic Dragon
The dragon that infected you with a scourge was of the Chromatic variety. Chromatic dragons have an expertise for wanton destruction and death. This scourge grants you that power.
Metallic Dragon
The dragon that infected you with a scourge was of the Metallic variety. Usually progenitors of peace and prosperity, the Metallic Scourge lends you its aptitude for protection.
Wrathful Infusion
Your draconic scourge grants you the ability to infuse your weapon. At 3rd level when you take this path, you select the species of dragon--either chromatic or metallic--and then select the color based on the species. While raging, you deal an extra 1d4 damage of your chosen dragon's element on successful melee weapon attacks. This damage increases to 1d6 at level 6 and again to 2d6 at level 14.
Black Dragon
Infected by the scourge of a Black Dragon, your melee weapon attacks are enhanced by its Acid.
Blue Dragon

Gold Dragon

White Dragon

Scale Growth
Beginning at 6th level, the Dragon's Sickness takes over more of your body, causing the scales on your arms to spread and cover the rest of your body when you rage. The new scales grant you resistance to the element of the dragon you selected, and you add your rage damage bonus to all saving throws.

Elemental Fulmination
At 10th level, your Wrathful Infusion grows in power and gains an additional effect. When rolling damage on a successful melee weapon attack while raging, if any of the dice granted by your Wrathful Infusion feature roll the maximum possible result, the dice explode and can be rolled again. The dice can explode as many times as the maximum result is rolled. Exploding dice behave differently depending on your dragon's species.
- Chromatic dragons' exploding dice add to the damage dealt with that attack.
- Metallic dragons' exploding dice heal for the sum of all dice rolled after the initial explosion. Any healing that brings you over your hit point maximum is converted into temporary hit points.
In the event of a critical hit, the extra Wrathful Infusion dice rolled as a result of the critical cannot explode.
Greatwyrm's Presence
The Draconic Scourge has wracked through your entire body, and now it affects your eyes. At 14th level, while raging you gain truesight to a range of 10ft.
Additionally, when a creature willingly moves into your melee range, you may use a reaction to use Terrifying Visage. The creature must succeed a Wisdom Saving Throw (DC = 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Strength Modifier) or be frightened of you until the end of their next turn, or until you damage them.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
