Base Class: Wizard
In the highest of studies, there are magi that take their craft to more intricate levels. Those whom study magic in other places not fit in standard schools of magic. But always present in it. The study of gems is the appreciation of their value and symbolism. It is recognizing their place in the world and how they all connect and weave into the tapestry of magic as a whole.
“You can’t always trust the world to come in and make things right. You can’t always trust others to come by and do things right the first time. Or the second time. Or ever really.”
“When it comes to things that truly matter to you. You have to be the one that decides you’ll do it right, because you don’t think anyone else can. Otherwise you’re just a coward, right?” ~ Isabelle Galatea

Additionally, you have a pool of Gems equal to your Wizard level + your Intelligence modifier. These Gems are magical items you always keep on you, whether it be in a pouch or in vials. When you cast a spell that uses your save DC and you have no additional bonuses affecting it, you can expend a number of Gems up to your proficiency bonus and increase your save DC by that amount for that instance. You gain access to the following Gemcraft:
| Skill | Effects |

Each round the spell is delayed in this way, the die count of the spell increases by one up to a maximum equal to your proficiency bonus. You can choose to end concentration on this Gemcraft to activate the spell at any moment. |
| Break | When you cast a spell, you can activate this Gemcraft by expending 1 Gem. For the duration of that spell, structures that the spell makes contact with become vulnerable to all sources of damage until the end of your next turn. |
| Punch | When you would miss a spell attack or it is otherwise stopped in its path, you can expend 4 Gems to increase the hit bonus by your Intelligence modifier. On hit dealing your level in piercing damage. If used with an obstacle in the way, you make an Intelligence check. The spell moves through the obstacle a number of feet equal to the roll times 5. |

After you cast the spell you select a target you can see within the initial range of the spell, the spell then moves to that target and the normal effects of the spell are applied. Damage dealt by a Homing spell is reduced by half. During your turn you can use your bonus action to activate the spell again.
