Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

To kill without being in direct danger is what all ranged weapon users strive for, but most especially the Sniper. Snipers are considered stealthy marksman, their craft to deliver death from afar, their enemies clueless from the source of attack as they fall one by one. Their aim is considered to be the deadliest and their stealth makes it near impossible to even engage. That is because Snipers aren’t trained to fight, they are trained to execute and deliver death from a distance.

Bonus Proficiencies

Starting when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, You gain proficiency in martial ranged weapons and firearms.

Lay Low

At 3rd level, You know how to stay out of sight while the enemy is within yours. Your weapon attacks no longer have disadvantage when you are prone. While prone, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks. You can use your Cunning Action to give yourself advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks.

Additionally, you gain darkvision out to 60 feet, if you already have darkvision, it’s reach is extended by 60 feet.

Marksman

Also at 3rd level, you gain a new way to use your sneak attack. As long as you are prone, or have 1/2 or 3/4 cover, you don’t need advantage to add your sneak attack to your damage roll, all other rules for sneak attack apply.

Silencer

Starting at 9th level, your ranged weapon attacks do not reveal your position when you are hidden if you are prone. Getting up from being prone costs no movement and you can remove yourself from the prone condition even if your speed is at 0.

Additionally, whenever you use your Steady Aim feature while you are prone or on a target you would otherwise have advantage on the attack roll, you may add your proficiency bonus to the damage roll.

Expert Marksman

Starting at 13th level, whenever you score a critical hit or reduce a creature to 0 hitpoints, you can make an additional weapon attack on another creature within 30 feet of the first. This attack benefits from your Sneak Attack even if you already used Sneak Attack on your turn.

Deadly Aim

At 17th level, when you make an attack roll against a creature who hasn’t taken a turn yet or moved since their last turn, your sneak attack die becomes a d8 instead of a d6.
