Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Most see the Low-Level Grand Sorcerer as a humiliation, while impressive at first glace they pale in comparison to other subclasses. The issue?

They can't cast spells higher than 1st level spells. (or anything above 3rd level spells, still under debate)

First Idea: Instead of gaining spells of a higher caliber, their innate magic splits spell slots down into 1st level spell slots. For example: at Sorcerer level three you gain two 2nd level spell slots. The first idea for this class would then split each 2nd level spell slots into two 1st level spell slots, and the same with a 3rd level spell slot into three 1st level spell slots, and so on.  Meaning at level 20 you would have 89 1st level spell slots.

Second Idea: Similar rules apply, but only 4th level and higher spell slots would be split according to a special table designed below.

6th level you would have 4(1st), 3(2nd), 3(3rd). 7th level= 8(1st), 3(2nd), 3(3rd). 8th level= 10(1st), 6(2nd), 3(3rd).

9th level= 10(1st), 7(2nd), 4(3rd). 10th level= 12(1st), 7(2nd), 5(3rd). 11/12th level= 13(1st), 8(2nd), 6(3rd).

13/14th level= 15(1st), 10(2nd), 6(3rd). 15/16th level= 18(1st), 11(2nd), 7(3rd). 17th level= 20(1st), 13(2nd), 8(3rd).

18th level= 23(1st), 14(2nd), 8(3rd). 19th level= 24(1st), 15(2nd), 9(3rd). 20th level= 26(1st), 16(2nd), 10(3rd).

Multicast

Starting at 3rd level:

To make up for the outrageous amount of spell slots, and the fact that you won't be able to cast higher tier spells, your innate magic allows you to double/multicast your spells using sorcery points, though you do also need the required spell slots available. (ONLY FOR SORCERER SPELLS)

Every time you would unlock a higher tier spell slot, you can instead multicast your spells but only within certain limits. For example: At 3rd level you could spend one sorcery point to double-cast a 1st level spell, this uses one sorcery point and two 1st level spell slots to double-cast your spell. While 7th level unlocks one 4th level spell slot, you could then either spend 3 sorcery points to quad-cast a 1st level spell (so long as you have the four 1st level spell slots available to use), or double-cast a 2nd level spell (again you would need two 2nd level spell slots available). You can't double-cast a 3rd level spell until you have unlocked 6th level spells!

HOWEVER, this is limited to the amount of that rank of spell slots you would have. Example: 3rd level unlocks two 2nd level spell slots, you could only double-cast twice until you long rest, as the ability refreshes the same time you would regain your Sorcery Points during your long rest. 7th level unlocks one 4th level spell slot, so you can only quad cast once before, again, you would need to recover your Sorcery Points at your next long rest.

Also, please note, that if you wish to use metamagic for the multi-cast spells, you will need to pay enough sorcery points to affect all of the casted spells. Even though multi-casting is your bread and butter, your mind is still unable to assign different metamagic to only some spells.

Example: You double-cast magic missile and want to use the "Empowered Spell" metamagic, if you only have one sorcery point, you will not be able to use "Empowered Spell", since you would not have enough points to "Empower" both casts of the spell.

Sorcery points and spell slot table:

(2nd spell slot) 1 point: double-cast 1st

(3rd spell slot) 2 points: tri-cast 1st

(4th spell slot) 3 points: quad-cast 1st, double-cast 2nd

(5th spell slot) 4 points: penta-cast 1st

(6th spell slot) 5 points: hexa-cast 1st, tri-cast 2nd, double-cast 3rd

(7th spell slot) 6 points: hepta-cast 1st

(8th spell slot) 7 points: octa-cast 1st, quad-cast 2nd

(9th spell slot) 8 points: ennea-cast 1st, tri-cast 3rd

At level 20, when you regain 4 sorcery points during a short rest, you can also two 2nd level double-casts (which can still be split to a quad-cast 1st level instead).

Meta-Magic Cheapskate

Starting at 6th level, when you convert a spell slot into sorcery points, you instead add one extra point! This only works for 2nd and 3rd level spell slots, and may only be used [equal to your proficiency bonus] times per long rest.

Magical Division

Starting at level 14 as a Low-Level Grand Sorcerer whenever you use sorcery points to create a spell slot, the number of sorcery points to do so equals the level of the spell slot instead of the previous table.

Example: You only need one sorcery point to craft a 1st level spell slot, two points for a 2nd, and three points for a 3rd level.

Discount Sorcery

Starting at 18th level, you are able to cast and one Metamagic spell onto your multi-cast for free.

Example: You want to penta-cast Magic Missile, but want to really get the most out of your time and use quickened spell? Well instead of paying the needed points to affect all five spells, this feature allows you to use that quickened spell to affect all five spells once per long rest.
