The Oath of Glacial Dreams binds its followers to an icy passion that thrives on both control and seduction. These paladins are masters of using their cold beauty and sharp precision to dominate others, breaking their will through not only power but an enticing, almost irresistible allure. Their presence is like a frostbite kiss—painful, yet compelling—drawing others closer even as it freezes their resolve. The cold is their weapon and their love, and they use it to bend the hearts of all who cross their path.

Paladins of this oath are enchanting tyrants, whether they serve a greater power or themselves. Their touch can frost a lover’s heart or freeze the defiance of their enemies. They build their dominion upon the frozen loyalty of those who cannot resist their allure, and they shatter any who dare resist their control.

Tenets of the Glacial Dreams

The tenets of the Oath of Glacial Dreams guide the paladin to wield power through chilling control, whether by inspiring servitude or crushing resistance.

Cold Desire: Like the sharpest ice, emotions must be wielded with care and precision. Let your feelings be powerful, distant, and enticing, guiding others to see you as both irresistible and unyielding.

Dominance Through Ice: To dominate is to freeze the will and shape the heart. Use your cold beauty and allure to bend others to your desires, or crush those who refuse to bend with a piercing command.

Frozen Devotion: True loyalty is earned through irresistible power. Bind others to you with promises of shared dominion or the inevitability of cold submission. Only those who follow you willingly deserve to bask in your presence.

Shattering Embrace: Power is unassailable, but it is also a gift. Break those who defy you, mold the will of others to your own, and wield your influence with the sharp touch of ice. Those who submit to you will know true power—those who resist will be shattered.

Level 3: Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following Channel Divinity options:

Frozen Desire: As an action, you can touch a creature and flood their mind with an overwhelming chill of attraction or fear. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature becomes charmed by you for 1 minute. While charmed, the creature will do anything you ask, though it will not harm itself. The effect ends if the creature takes damage. This ability can only be used once per creature every 24 hours.

Glacial Command: As a bonus action, you can unleash a frigid aura of dominance. All hostile creatures within 10 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw at the start of their turn. On a failed save, the creature becomes frightened of you for 1 minute. While frightened, the creature cannot target you with attacks and will try to move away from you if possible.

 

Level 7: Aura of Icy Embrace

Starting at 7th level, your presence radiates a powerful and cold aura. Any creature within 10 feet of you who attempts to attack you or your allies must make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC or have disadvantage on the attack roll. If they fail by 5 or more, they are charmed by you until the start of your next turn.

At 18th level, the aura’s range increases to 30 feet. Creatures who fail their saving throws by 5 or more are stunned until the end of their next turn.

 

Level 15: Ravaging Frost

At 15th level, your touch freezes both body and heart. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can force the creature to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, you can choose to either charm or frighten the creature for 1 minute. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns.

Additionally, you gain resistance to cold damage, and you cannot be charmed or frightened against your will.

 

Level 20: Frozen Sovereign

At 20th level, you become the embodiment of cold, irresistible power. As an action, you can transform into a being of frozen dominance for 1 hour, gaining the following benefits:

  • You shed an aura of divine freezing energy in a 30-foot radius. Any creature that starts its turn in the aura must make a Wisdom saving throw or become charmed by you for 1 minute.
  • You gain a flying speed of 60 feet.
  • When you deal damage to a creature that is charmed by you, you regain hit points equal to half the damage dealt.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
