Base Class: Warlock
Not all warlocks are chosen. Some are marked—twisted by afflictions so dire that they become conduits of malediction themselves. A Cursemonger is not granted power by a patron’s hand, but rather scarred by a curse so profound that it reshaped their very soul. Whether it was the dying spite of a vengeful foe, an ancestral blight passed down through generations, or the backlash of a spell gone horribly wrong, each Cursemonger carries a personal doom they can never escape.
But rather than succumb, they turn their suffering outward, shackling others in the same chains that bind them. Their power is an extension of their own torment—a malignant gift they neither asked for nor can rid themselves of. Some see them as harbingers of misfortune, others as avengers who return agony tenfold to those who wrong them.
While some Cursemongers seek to unravel the mystery of their affliction, hoping to free themselves from its grasp, others embrace the darkness, becoming living vessels of spite and inevitability. The more they spread their hexes, the more their own curse festers—an inescapable cycle of suffering.
Curse
After choosing this subclass, you gain the ability to curse your enemies. There are two types of curses, Malignant and Symbiotic. Malignant curses damage or cripple your enemies, and Symbiotic curses assist your allies when they attack the cursed creature.
Cursing a Creature
- As a bonus action, you can afflict a creature you can see within 100 feet with a curse.
- When you cast a curse, unless stated otherwise, the creature must make a wisdom saving throw equal to your spell save DC or get cursed.
- The curse lasts for 1 minute or until the creature dies.
- A cursed creature can only be affected by one curse from you at a time, and at levels 10 and 14, this number goes up to two and three, respectively.
- You can use this feature a number of times equal to your 1 + your proficiency bonus per long rest.
- If you attempt to curse a creature after using all your available curses, you suffer one level of exhaustion for each additional curse cast.
Curse Limitations and Removal
- Curses do not require concentration and remain in effect for their full duration unless ended early.
- A curse can be removed by dispel magic, greater restoration, or similar effects at the DM’s discretion.
- You can end a curse early at will.
- If you curse a new creature, your previous curse ends automatically.
- If the caster is incapacitated or unconscious, the curse ends automatically.

When an attack or spell hits the cursed creature, it takes an additional amount of piercing damage equal to the caster's spell attack bonus.

Curse of Frailty
The cursed creature has disadvantage on Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution saving throws.

Curse of Gravity

This is a symbiotic curse.
Curse of the Conduit
When an ally of the caster casts a spell that does damage to the cursed creature, they ignore resistance to that damage type and treat the creature as vulnerable to that damage type. This curse is unique, and its effects only work once before the curse fades.
This is a symbiotic curse.
Curse of the Doll
When the cursed creature takes damage from an attack or spell, another enemy of the caster’s choice within 30 feet of the cursed creature takes half of that damage (rounded down).

Curse of the Enfeebled Mind
When the cursed creature is forced to make an intelligence, wisdom, or charisma saving throw, the cursed creature has disadvantage on the saving throw.

Malefic Brand
When you curse a creature, you brand them with an accursed sigil that binds them to you. While a creature is cursed by you, you gain the following benefits:
- You deal bonus necrotic damage equal to your proficiency bonus when you hit the cursed creature with an attack.
- You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Wisdom (Survival) checks made to track the cursed creature.
- If the cursed creature dies, you can immediately transfer the curse to another creature within 100 ft without expending a use of your Curse feature.
Parasitic Hex
Your curse siphons vitality from your foe, fortifying your own body against harm. You gain the following features:
- When the cursed creature takes damage from an attack or spell, you gain temporary hit points equal to twice your proficiency bonus (once per round).
- Additionally, you gain resistance to damage dealt by the cursed creature’s attacks and spells.

- A cursed creature cannot benefit from advantage on attack rolls, saving throws, or ability checks while cursed.
- The cursed creature cannot leave a 500-foot radius around you by any means, nor can it teleport or travel to another plane while under the effects of any of your curses.
