Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The dead serve you because of a hidden power that you learn to control.

Level 3: Commune

  • You can cast speak with dead as a ritual

Level 3: Deathwalker

  • When you hit or are hit by an undead creature while raging you may use your reaction to charm the creature. The undead must make a wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + prof + con mod). On a failure the creature becomes charmed by you for 1 minute. A creature charmed in this way may be commanded as described in the spell [Animate Dead]. The effect ends early if you use it on another creature or if you or your allies attack the creature. On a success the creature is not charmed and is immune to this feature for the next 24 hours. You may use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your constitution modifier

(minimum 1)

Level 6: Gravedigger

  • As an action you can reanimate the dead as if casting the spell [animate dead] using this ability also counts for the purposes of maintaining rage. You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to half your barbarian level rounded down.

Level 10: Wretched Endurance

  • Whenever you rage undead creatures under your control gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your barbarian level. Additionally while raging they add your rage damage bonus to any damage they deal.

Level 14: Carrion Lord

  • When using the Gravedigger ability you can expend additional uses to create more powerful undead. You may create a ghoul for 2 uses, a ghast for 3 uses, or a wight for 4 uses

Level 14: Reaper's Harvest

When an undead creature under your control dies you gain (1d12+con mod) hit points.
