Base Class: Barbarian
Level 3: Protector of the Mountain
When you select this subclass at 3rd level, you gain a bonus to your AC equal to your rage damage bonus when wearing a shield. Additionally, when a creature you can see hits a creature within 10 feet of you with an attack roll, you can use your reaction to move and interpose your shield with the attack, making you the target instead. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks. While in a rage, you can take 2 reactions in a round.
Level 3: Natural shield
You can wear a shield on your arm, freeing up your hands. This allows you to, for example, wield a two-handed weapon while still gaining the benefits of your shield.
Level 6: Landslide
Starting at 6th level, whenever you enter a rage you can cause the ground to erupt in a 15-foot radius sphere centered on a point on the ground within 90 feet of you, causing the area to become difficult terrain. Creatures within the area must succeed on a DC 16 dexterity saving throw, taking 6d6 bludgeoning damage and falling prone on a failed save, while taking half damage on a success. While in a rage, you can use your action to do the same thing a number of times equal to your rage damage bonus, regaining 1 use when you enter into a rage again.
Level 10: Improved landslide
The damage of your Landslide increases by 3d6, to a total of 9d6.
Level 10: Stunning retaliation
When a creature within 5 feet of you misses on an attack roll against you and you are wielding a shield, you can take a reaction to attempt to stun them. The creature must succeed on a constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus your Proficiency bonus and your Strength modifier) or have the stunned condition until the start of your next turn.
Level 14: Improved landslide
The damage of your Landslide increases by 3d6, to a total of 12d6.

While in a rage, you can take 6 reactions in a round of combat.
