Manipulation Domain

Gods of manipulation — such as Cyric, Llolth, Mystra, the Traveler, Garl Glittergold, and Loki — are constantly weaving plots and plans and delight in mortals who challenge the accepted order of things. They are patrons of those that seek to play the long game, politicians, and any who design complicated schemes. Their clerics are usually hidden amongst others, often professing allegiance to another if it serves them. They prefer subterfuge, deception, and using others rather than direct confrontation.

Silver Tongue

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you immediately gain expertise in Charisma (Deception) and Charisma (Persuasion) skill checks.

Channel Divinity: Mind Twister

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to twist the minds of others.

As an action, you will be able to cast the Charm Person spell with more skill than you normally can. Upon using the channel divinity you can add 1/2 your cleric level rounded down (minimum of 1) to the DC of your spell.

Channel Divinity: Suggestive Words

Starting at 6th level, you can use your Channel Divinity to further manipulate the minds of others.

As an action, you can use a Channel Divinity to cast the suggestion spell. This use does not require a material component.

Entangling Strike

At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your melee weapon strikes with magical entangling whispers — a gift from your deity. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can cause the attack to entangle the target for one round. This entanglement will use your Wisdom score to resolve and ends at the beginning of your next turn. When you reach 14th level, the entanglement becomes more complex and you are able to use ranged weapon attacks to produce the effect.

Channel Divinity: Improved Suggestive Words

Starting at 17th level, you can use your Channel Divinity to further manipulate the minds of many others.

As an action, you can use a Channel Divinity to cast the mass suggestion spell. This use does not require a material component.
