Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of the Arcane is taken by those who seek arcane power and to unravel the mysteries of the Weave. These arcane enforcers are often guardians of tomes, sacred writing, and other precious texts. Other times, these paladins are hunters of spell books, lost artifacts, and forgotten secrets. These paladins are commonly seen wearing elegant spellcaster robes over their plate armor and carrying their own spell books of collected incantations.
Arcane Prowess
Starting at 3rd level, as an action you can use your channel divinity to cast a Wizard spell (See Eldritch Knight Spell list). You must have had a chance to study the spell in its written form, like a spell scroll or a wizard’s spell book, for at least 8 hours and paid 50gp per spell level for components. The spell level must be equal to or lower than half your paladin level (rounded down), minus 1.
Magical Defense
Starting at 3rd level, as an action, you can use your Channel Divinity as protection from arcane energies for yourself and nearby allies. Choose a number of creatures equal to your CHA modifier within 30ft, plus yourself. You reduce the total damage of any incoming spell damage by an amount equal to your CHA modifier (to a minimum of 0). This effect lasts until the end of your next turn.

Spells
Arcane Aura
Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you receive a bonus to spell damage equal to your proficiency bonus. At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Arcane Bastion
-
Starting at 15th level, when an enemy that you can see within 60ft of you is in the process of casting a spell that targets a single creature, you can expend your reaction to attempt to interrupt that spell. If the creature is casting a single target spell of 3rd level or lower, the spell fails and has no effect. If it is casting a spell of 4th level or higher, make a CHA check. The DC equals 10 + the spell’s level. On a success, the creature’s spell fails and has no effect. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your CHA modifier and regain all uses on a long rest.
