Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

It can be argued that aggression can be inherited or learned. In the case of the individuals of the Vicious Bloodline, it is a little bit if both. If a sorcerer’s power can be achieved through inheritance, then this lineage of sorcerers are infamous for being exceptional combatants. They can call upon the knowledge of their ancestors to assist them in battles to enter a complete state of enhanced combat awareness and survivability. Despite also being experts in the arcane, a sorcerer of this lineage can function as fairly experienced martials, having the mix of both roles for any team.

Ancestral Arsenal

3rd-level Vicious Bloodline feature

Your family didn’t raise no b*tch and it shows. You gain proficiency with Light armor, and you gain proficiency with Simple weapons and Martial weapons that lack the Heavy property.

Bloodthirst

3rd-level Vicious Bloodline feature

You harness generations worth unbridled, fist clenching rage from your ancestors. As a Bonus action, you can enter a state of Bloodthirst. This effect lasts for 1 minute and ends early if you are Incapacitated or if you don Medium or Heavy armor. You can also dismiss the Bloodthirst at any time (no action required). While in Bloodthirst, you gain the following benefits:

Life Drain. You can deal an extra 1d8 necrotic damage once per turn to whenever you hit a target and choose to regain a number of Hit points equal to the Necrotic damage dealt. While Bloodied, this damage increases to 2d8. This damage becomes d10’s at 6th level and d12’s at 14th level.

Battle Focus. You automatically succeed on DC 10 Constitution saving throws to maintain your Concentration on spells.

Skirmish. You can take either the Dash or Disengage actions as a Bonus action.

You can use this feature twice and regain all expended uses of it when you finish a Short or Long rest, unless you spend 2 sorcery points to use it again.

Extra Attack

6th-level Vicious Bloodline feature

You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. Moreover, you can cast one of your cantrips in place of one of those attacks.

Violent Guidance

14th-level Vicious Bloodline feature

Your ancestors are calling and they're saying HIT BETTER. When you make an attack roll, you can spend one sorcery point to gain a +3 bonus to the roll. You can use this feature before or after making the attack roll, but before any effects of the attack are applied.

Arknight

18th-level Vicious Bloodline feature

You have achieved mastery of your ancestral power, strengthening future succeeding generations who will use it next. Once on each of your turns when you spend one or more sorcery points to use a Metamagic feature, you can make one additional attack on your turn (no action).
