Base Class: Barbarian
Some warriors fight for glory. Others for survival. You fight for revenge. A Grudgebearer does not forget or forgive—once a slight has been committed, it must be answered.
Grudge
-
When you enter your rage, you may mark a creature as your Grudge. This mark lasts until your rage ends or the creature dies.
-
Your Grudge takes an additional 1d6 damage from your weapon attacks.
-
When your Grudge dies, you can use a bonus action to mark a new Grudge before your rage ends.
-
This ability does not require concentration.
Spiteful Rebuke
-
When a creature marked as your Grudge damages you with an attack, you can use your reaction to have them make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier).
-
On a failed save, they take damage equal to half the damage they dealt to you (rounded down).
-
This effect can trigger once per Grudge target per rage.
Stubborn
-
While raging, you cannot be forcibly moved by any effect unless you choose to be. This includes being shoved, pulled, or magically repositioned.
-
You can still be restrained, grappled, or knocked prone by normal means.
-
If a creature attempts to magically teleport you, they must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or the spell fails.
Vengeful Resolution
-
When you reduce your Grudge to 0 HP, you gain temp HP equal to your Barbarian level + your Constitution modifier.
-
If you mark a new Grudge before your rage ends, your first attack against them automatically counts as a critical hit.
