Base Class: Rogue
The Fortune's Hand subclass embodies the enigmatic and ever-shifting nature of fate and luck. Rogues who follow this path are skilled manipulators of chance, capable of bending the outcomes of events to their advantage. They possess an uncanny sense of timing and intuition, allowing them to capitalize on fleeting opportunities and turn the tides in their favor.
Members of the Fortune's Hand subclass have a deep connection to the intricacies of fortune. They understand that luck is not a mere happenstance, but a force that can be harnessed and shaped. With each step they take, they walk a fine line between calculated risks and the whims of destiny, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
Through their training and unique abilities, Fortune's Hand rogues gain the ability to alter the flow of probability. They can seize fleeting chances, evade harm through fortunate circumstances, and manipulate the outcomes of their actions. Whether it's through swift and precise strikes, uncanny escapes, or redirecting misfortune onto their foes, these rogues dance on the razor's edge of luck, daring fate to challenge them.
Lucky Escape
When you are subjected to an effect that would paralyze, stun, or incapacitate you, you can choose to roll a saving throw with advantage. On a successful save, you resist the effect and maintain control over your actions.
Gamblers Intuition
As a reaction when you are hit by an attack, you can roll a d20. On a roll of 10 or higher, you can choose to redirect the attack to another creature within the range of the weapon being used. That creature becomes the target of the attack instead, using the same attack roll result. You can use this ability 3 times every Short/Long rest.
Fates Renewal
You can take a calculated risk on behalf of an ally. As a reaction when a friendly creature within 30 feet of you fails an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, you can choose to roll a d20 and add your Dexterity modifier. The result replaces their original roll. You can use this ability 3 times and regain all expended slots after you finish a long rest
Tymora's Gift
You and up to 5 willing creatures of your choice gain advantage on all attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks for 1 minute if they are within 30ft of you. Additionally, whenever you score a critical hit, you regain hit points equal to your Rogue level +DEX modifier. You can use this ability once every long rest.
