Rebirth Sorcery

Your innate magic comes from the gifts of a phoenix. Perhaps an elder phoenix shed a tear upon you as a newborn baby. You might have been conceived or born near the point where a phoenix fell to ash and rose to life once again. Maybe your parents dangled a crimson or vermillion feather over your crib without knowing that it belonged to a phoenix. Or perchance one of your ancestors received a boon from a phoenix itself.

Level 3: Phoenix Persona

The magic in your body manifests physical traits of your phoenix gifts. Your body is adorned with bright vermillion feathers.

If you have more than half your Hit Points, you have Resistance to Fire damage.

As you become Bloodied, your feathers burn up and your skin becomes ashen. Your Resistance becomes Immunity to Fire damage.

If you become Dead, your body turns to ashes and reforms anew. Once per day, should you die, you instantly become Stable instead.

Level 3: Rebirth Spells

When you reach a Sorcerer level specified in the Rebirth Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared. If you gain access to a Spell that doesn't appear on the Sorcerer Spell List, the Spell is nonetheless a Sorcerer spell for you.

Level 6: Die Hard

You have Advantage whenever you make a Death Saving Throw.

Level 14: Flaming Flight

If you have more than half your Hit Points, you also have a pair of crimson wings and a Fly Speed of 60 feet.

As you become Bloodied, your wings burn up along with the rest of your phoenix feathers. In such instance, a cloud of ashes surrounds you, your falling rate of descent is 60 feet per round until you land on the ground and you take no damage from the fall, as if you were under the effects of the Feather Fall spell.

Level 18: Ashes's Ascension

Once per day, should you become Dead, instead of instantly turning Stable, your Phoenix Persona feature now completely restores your Hit Points.
