Base Class: Fighter
Fighters are well known for their martial prowess. One must train in many a weapon to be as adept of a combatant as a fighter is. Even so, many of these fighters, despite their knowledge over many forms of warfare, find themselves relying on a singular weapon as the signature of their arsenal. Standouts rebuke this idea. These flashy fighters swap between weapons as if holding one for too long may burn their hands. From throwing barrages of daggers to having an arsenal of weapons all for various purposes, to see a Standout holding one weapon for more than six seconds is on par with meeting a wizard without shield. Rare, and probably because they don't know what they're doing.
Fighting With Style
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your flair for theatrics lends itself to your combative style, allowing you to fight with Style.
Expanded Armory. You gain the ability to put a number of weapons equal to 2 x your proficiency bonus into an extradimensional space of your own design. These can be flavored as on your person, in a chest with you, or anything as long as it is amenable to both you and your DM. These can be pulled out at any time as though they were stowed on your person.
Lethal Bravado. Once per turn, when you hit with a weapon that was drawn this turn, your Style goes up by one grade. At 3rd level, you only have access to E (D4) and D(D6). Your Style will grant you a bonus to attack and damage based on your current grade. This bonus is whatever Style Die is linked to the grade you are currently at, as shown next to each one where they are listed. You unlock more Grades as you reach higher levels, C(D8) 7th level, B(D10) 10th level, A(D12) 15th level, S(D20) 18th level. Your Grade goes down by one each turn you hit without switching to a separate weapon. If you have been out of combat for a minute, your Style resets back to F(No Die).
Natural Charm. You gain proficiency in a Charisma skill of your choice as a result of how naturally cool and suave you are.
1. Style Die - D4 (E)
Your Style is only just beginning to come out.
2. Style Die - D6 (D)
Your Style is starting to come out. Let your confidence grow and soon it might flourish.
3. Style Die - D8 (C)
Your Style is really starting to show. You fight with unmatched poise.
4. Style Die - D10 (B)
Your Style is flourishing. None can match the level of elegance that you are expressing.
5. Style Die - D12 (A)
Your Style is magnificent. You are nearly at the peak of how much Style a person can express.
6. Style Die - D20 (S)
This is it. You have reached the peak of Style. None can compare how suave you are.
A Little Pizzazz
When you reach 7th level in this subclass, swapping weapons has become second nature to you. Once on your turn, you may stow and draw a new weapon as a free action. On top of this, you may now trigger your Fighting With Style feature twice per turn. Your Style Die is now capable of becoming a D8.
Perfected Bravado
At 10th level, you know your Style is the best offense, and therefore, the best defense. As a reaction, when you are targeted by an attack, you may go down to any Grade below your current Grade. You then gain a bonus to your AC equal to 5 x the number of Grades you dropped for the duration of the attack. Your Style Die is now capable of becoming a D10.
Graceful Entrance
Starting at 15th level, when you enter combat, roll 1d3. Increase your Grade a number of tiers equal to the result. Your Style Die is now capable of becoming a d12.
Infuriating Presence
At 18th level, you have mastered the ability to piss off your opponents. With your suave aura and your natural charm, you manage to anger an enemy enough to throw them off their rhythm. Once per short rest, as a bonus action, you may pick a creature within 30 feet of you who is not deafened or blinded. Until the end of your turn, you have advantage on all attack rolls and damage rolls against the target. Your Style Die is now capable of becoming a D20.
