Monk
Base Class: Monk

Combine your spirit and the arcane to achieve perfection. Weaving together a combination of spells and ki strikes, become a devastating force to be reckond with, or become a supportive ally. Use your accumulated wisdom and understanding of the mystic arts to achieve the greatest of feats.

Level 3: Mystic stance

As a bonus action, you can spend 2 ki points to enter a special stance to help you unleash your mystic powers through your body. The stance lasts for 1 minute or until you fall unconscious or choose to end it (no action required).

While in this stance, you can use your wisdom modifier for your unarmed strikes, monk weapons, or dedicated weapon instead of dexterity or strength. Additionally, you may use your own body as an arcane focus. And finally, you can add your wisdom modifier to your Intelligence and Charisma saving throws.

Level 6: Arcane discipline

Your quick reflexes and deft strikes heighten your spellcasting abilities, allowing you to weave your strikes and spells together.

When you take the attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action to cast any monk spell granted to the Way of the Mystic Palm. Doing so costs 1 ki poin plus one key points per level of spell, in addition to its spell slot.

Level 11: Arcane Adaptation

As your body grows more accustom to surging magical energy, you become more resistant to the Mystic arts. More over, you have better learned how to manipulate and harness magical power.

When you are targeted by a spell or magical affect, you can use your reaction to harness the energy. Doing so allows you to regain ki points equal to half the spells level rounded up, or half your proficiency bonus if the effect was not a spell.

In addition, if the effect would heal or deal damage you, you can reduce or increase the amount that you take by an amount equal to 1 roll of your martial arts die.

Level 17: Mystic Palm

You have reached the pinnacle of harmony between spirit and the arcane.

When you cast a spell that deals damage, it enhances your strikes for one minute, or until you use this feature again. For one minute, your weapon attack’s and unarmed strikes deal extra damage of the same type as the spell cast equal to one roll of your martial arts die.

While Mystic Palm is active, you also count as being in your Mystic Stance.
