Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

The Whispering Crown is not a creature, god, or demon. It is an idea — the distilled essence of obedience made manifest. Somewhere in time, so many people obeyed without questioning that the concept of submission itself began to think. And now, it speaks.

To serve the Crown is not to pray or praise. It is to understand that free will is a failure of structure. As a Whispering Crown warlock, you do not dominate through threats or spectacle. You speak, calmly, precisely — and the world bends to your phrasing. Your spells are conversations that leave no room for disagreement. Your presence is a tension others can’t name.

You specialize in enchantment and illusion magic, not for flash, but for correction. You become the final word in any scene, battlefield or court. Your magic isn't about controlling others. It's about making them believe they were always going to agree,

Sovereign Utterance

Starting at 1st level, the power of your voice carries more than meaning — it carries mandate.

You learn the Command spell. It counts as a warlock spell for you, but it doesn’t count against your number of spells known.

You can cast Command a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

When you cast Command using this feature, the target perceives your words as their own idea, unless they succeed on the saving throw by 5 or more.

In addition, when you cast a spell with a verbal component that targets only one creature, you can choose to deliver it telepathically. The target hears your words directly in their mind — no one else hears them. This does not require line of sight or shared language, but the target must be able to understand at least one language.

Obedience Engine

Starting at 1st level, your dominion over others leaves a lingering echo in their minds.

Whenever a creature fails a saving throw against one of your enchantment or illusion spells, you may mark that creature as compliant until the end of your next turn.

While a creature is compliant:

  • You gain advantage on Charisma (Deception, Intimidation, and Persuasion) checks against it.

  • If the creature is also charmed, you may treat its attitude toward you as one step more favourable for the duration of the charm (subject to DM discretion).

You may only have one compliant creature at a time. Marking a new creature removes the compliant status from any previously affected target.

Echo of Command

When you breach one mind, others follow.

Starting at 6th level, when a creature fails a saving throw against one of your enchantment or illusion spells, you may choose a second creature within 10 feet of the original target. That second creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or become mentally unbalanced.

On a failure, that second creature has disadvantage on its next saving throw or ability check made within the next minute. Creatures affected this way do not realize they were influenced unless they succeed on the save.

Crown of Silence

You radiate authority so profound that even speech falters.

Starting at 10th level:

  • You gain immunity to the Charmed condition.

  • Hostile creatures within 10 feet of you cannot speak aloud unless they succeed on a Charisma saving throw at the start of their turn (DC equals your spell save DC).

This effect does not prevent spellcasting, but it does block spoken dialogue, cries for help, and audible verbal components. Allies are unaffected.

Dominus Vox

Your words are now theirs.

At 14th level, you can cast Mass Suggestion once without expending a spell slot or material components. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

When you cast Mass Suggestion this way:

  • Creatures with an Intelligence score of 8 or lower automatically fail their saving throw.

  • Creatures that fail are mentally marked. For the next 24 hours, you can communicate telepathically with them as if under the Message cantrip, regardless of distance or plane.

They believe the suggestion was their idea all along.
