Base Class: Sorcerer
Blessed by the soulfire phoenix, you are capable of using its magic. From scorching your enemies to burning away impurities in your allies, the soulfire phoenix's magic has many uses. It can even be used to bring back the dead, or so rumors say.
Level 3: Phoenix Resilience
The soulfire's power within you grants enhanced resilience. Your Hit Point maximum increases by 6, and it increases by 2 whenever you gain another Sorcerer level.
The soulfire can also act on its own to protect you. While you aren’t wearing armor, your base Armor Class equals 10 plus your Dexterity and Constitution modifiers.
Level 3: Soulfire Mending
Whenever you cast a spell that deals fire damage, you can transform those flames into soulfire, melting their wounds back together. This causes the spell to instead heal for an amount equal to 1/10 of the damage it would have dealt, and remove any physical effects like bleeding or gaping wounds.
Level 6: Soulfire Affinity
Your soul fire phoenix's blessing grants you affinity with fire and healing.
You have Resistance to fire damage, and when you cast a spell that deals fire damage, you can add your Constitution modifier to one damage roll of that spell. Additionally, when healing a creature, you can call upon the power of the soulfire to also heal their wounds, removing one physical effect such as bleeding or gaping wounds.
Level 14: Phoenix Grace
As a Bonus Action, you can call upon the power of the phoenix, causing a trail of mystical blue light to follow you and grant you flight. The trail lasts for 1 hour or until you dismiss them (no action required). For the duration, you have a Fly Speed of 60 feet, and emit bright light in a 25 foot radius, and dim light an additional 75 foot radius. Whenever you move with the Phoenix Grace active, you also leave behind a soulfire trail that lasts for 30 seconds and emits bright light in a 10 foot radius, and dim light an additional 15 foot radius.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest unless you spend 3 Sorcery Points (no action required) to restore your use of it.
Level 18: Phoenix Rebirth
You can cast True Resurrection without a Material component. You can also cast it once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in this way when you finish a Long Rest. Additionally, when casting True Resurrection, you can target a living creature. If you do, the creature will gain the 'Phoenix Rebirth' effect. When a creature with the 'Phoenix Rebirth' effect dies, the effects of the spell True Resurrection automatically occur.
