Base Class: Paladin
On dark days when good men break their bonds sometimes more dreadful things then death fill their place. The Oath of Hatred is one taken when a paladin forsakes all former connections and swears themselves to pure unbridled destruction. Many of these pledge service to infernal or demonic beings, but some pledge themselves to nothing but their own broiling souls of hate. Paladins of Hatred do not seek to destroy people or mere places, but entire concepts, kingdoms, and faiths. Their wrath is not born of a lust for power of wealth or prestige, but solely the dark will of their new masters or their own wretched souls.
Tenants Of Hatred
The tenets of the Oath of Hatred are much like paladins of Hatred themselves, mindless, spiteful, and unrelenting. Paladins of Hatred are as diverse as the reasons one could have to hate. The only throughline among them is their devotion to destruction of the target of their ire. Some are devoted to specific dark deities and infernal or demonic lords, others follow nothing but their own will to lay waste.
Nothing Will Stop My Wrath. There is no compromise, no mercy, no appeasement. There will be only ruin.
Divine Judgment. I am the will of fate and destiny. My wrath is righteous and unending.
Unfaltering. My goals are worth every cost. Not my life nor any other matters.
Service. My mission is greater than I. I serve with total loyalty to my cause.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Mindless Hate. As an action, you begin to burn with pure wrath and flames coat your body. For 1 minute, you add your Charisma modifier to all attack rolls and damage rolls you make (with a minimum bonus of +1) and can use your reaction to deal 1d6 fire damage to an enemy that has damaged you or is within 5 feet of you. All attacks made against you have advantage for this duration.
Inescapable Frenzy. When targets take the disengage action while within range of your attacks you may use a reaction to channel your divinity and make an opportunity attack. Upon making an opportunity attack, whether the attack hits or misses, the targets speed is reduced to 0. You are unable to take the disengage action whether or not you use this feature.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Undying Flame
Beginning at 15th level, you are consumed by the undying flame. When your hit points are reduced to zero, regardless of all other factors, you arise at the start of your next turn with temporary hitpoints equal to your maximum hitpoint total. At the start of each of your turns after your temporary hitpoints are reduced by half. If you have not received healing before the last temporary hitpoint is expended, you immediately die regardless of all other factors.
And There Was War
At 20th level, you become the embodiment of hatred. Using your action, you undergo a transformation. For 1 hour, you gain the following benefits:
- Wings sprout from your back and you gain a flying speed of 60ft
- You radiate a flaming aura in a 30-foot radius. Enemy creatures who start their turn within the aura who are not resistant or immune to fire damage take 15 fire damage at the start of their turn. Enemies who start their turn within the aura but are resistant to fire damage lose their resistance for as long as they remain in the aura and take 10 fire damage at the start of their turn. Enemies who are immune to fire damage are instead resistant and take 1 fire damage at the start of their turn.
- You take 2 point of fire damage at the start of your turn for the entire duration of the transformation. This damage directly affects your hitpoints and ignores all resistances and immunities.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
