Base Class: Barbarian
A warrior dedicated to putting the filthy casters down, and once and for all proving that martials can be superior.
Mage Breakers Rage
Unlike other barbarians, you are not concerned with resisting and shrugging off melee attacks. All that matters is decimating any and all magical opponents on the battlefield.
At 3rd level, while raging you no longer have resistance to slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning damage, instead you gain resistance to any and all spell damage delt to you.
Mage Breaker
Your dedicated to slaying mages... so naturally you qualify as a mage slayer.
At 6th level, you gain the Mage Slayer Feat.
Spell Eater
Spells are of no consequence to you, in fact you almost want to be hit by them.
At 10th level, while raging, if you are hit by a spell that will damage other members of your party within 15ft. of you, you can instead choose to take that damage for them.
Absorption Runes
You've learned to turn mages arcane damage against them, and all it took was carving these runes into your skin...
At 14th level, while raging, when you take elemental spell damage you can use your reaction to absorb and store half of this damage. You can store an amount of damage up to your max HP total. If your stored damage surpasses your max HP total then your stored damage is reset to 0 and you become stunned till the end of your next turn. When you make a melee attack you can choose to deal extra damage equal to the amount of damage you have stored, this damage is dealt as force damage. Doing this resets your stored damage to 0, losing rage also resets your stored damage to 0. You may only deal your extra damage twice per short rest, but may always store damage regardless.
