Base Class: Monk
Devotees of the Norse God, Thor, the brothers of the Forgotten Storm are divine warriors who gather their Ki to summon the storms with each strike.
Shocking Arc Bolt
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can strike out at enemies with the fury of the storm.
You gain a new attack option that you can use with the attack action. This special attack is a ranged spell attack with a range of 30 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity modifier to it's attack and damage rolls. It's damage is Lightning and it's damage die is a D4. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.
When you take the attack action on your turn and use this special attack as part of it, you can spend 1 Ki Point to make the special attack twice as a bonus action.
When you gain the extra attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the attack action.
Fury of the Storm
At 6th level, you gain the ability to channel your Ki into a powerful burst of energy. Immediately after you take the attack action on your turn, you can spend 2 Ki Points to move 30 feet as a bonus action. This movement must be in a straight line through the last opponent you attacked, and does not draw attacks of opportunity. Any creature you move through with this ability must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d6 Lightning damage, or half the amount on a success.
You can spend additional Ki Points to charge this ability. Each additional Ki Point spent increases the damage dealt by 1d6 and increases the movement by 5 feet. The maximum number of Ki Points (2 plus any additional points) that you can spend on this ability equals half your Monk level (Rounded Down.)
Eye of the Storm
At 11th level, you gain the ability to call forth a storm and direct it's strikes in devastating salvos. As an action you can cast the Call Lightning spell.
You can spend additional Ki Points to cast Call Lightning as a higher-level spell. Each additional Ki Point you spend increases the spells level by 1. The maximum number of Ki Points you can spend on increasing the spell's level is 3.
Storm's Vengeance
At 17th level, a field of crackling energy surrounds you and protects you from incoming attacks and spells. As a reaction, when you are targeted by an attack or spell that has an attack roll you can choose to impose disadvantage on the roll as a loud crack of thunder distracts the opponent. Creatures immune to being deafened are immune to this effect.
If a creature hits you with an attack or spell and you have not chosen to impose disadvantage you can choose to expend your reaction to use the field to absorb the power of the attack or spell, the field begins to spark wildly and lashes out at a hostile target within 60 feet. This attack deals the same damage as the triggering attack but the damage type becomes lightning.
You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Wisdom Modifier and you regain all expended uses on a short or long rest.
