Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who follow the Path of the Ravenous are primal forces of hunger and violence. These warriors embody the raw and savage instinct to consume and dominate, feeding on the lifeblood of their enemies to fuel their insatiable rage. Whether through ancestral curse or dark ritual, the Ravenous barbarian channels their inner hunger to empower their strikes, gaining strength from the very bodies they tear apart. For them, every kill is sustenance, every drop of blood a source of power.

Feast of Fury

When you enter a rage, you deal 1d6 bonus necrotic damage on your melee weapon attacks for the duration of your rage. Oncer per turn you may heal the amount of bonus necrotic damage dealt by these attacks. This bonus damage increases to 2d6 at level 6, 3d6 at level 10, and 4d6 at level 14.

Devour the Fallen

When you reduce a hostile creature to 0 hit points within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to consume part of its essence. For the next minute, your crit threshold is reduced by 1, your movement speed increases by 10 feet, and you ignore the effects of difficult terrain.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Blood Frenzy

While your Feast of Fury is active, you gain temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt by the necrotic damage of your Feast of Fury. These temporary hit points last until your rage ends and do not stack.

Additionally, you can sense the life force of creatures around you. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks made to track wounded or bloodied creatures within 60 feet of you, and you know their exact location if they are below half of their hit point maximum.

Ravenous Carnage

Your hunger for carnage reaches its peak. Whenever you activate your Feast of Fury ability, you can choose to enter a state of Voracious Fury for the duration of your rage as well. During this time:

  • You gain an additional 1d6 necrotic damage on all melee weapon attacks (stacking with Feast of Fury).
  • Each time you kill a creature, you can use a bonus action to regain hit points equal to your Barbarian level + your Constitution modifier.
  • Whenever you regain hit points during this state, your movement speed increases by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.

You can use this feature once per long rest.
