Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your innate magic is fueled by the bleeding energies of the rifts that cut into your plane. Perhaps your plane has several incisions from other planes in which they touch, or a singular large gate between the two, regardless they leak planar energy. Exposed to the tumultuous energies of the planes, your innate talents have warped to their influence, now the seed of the rifts lies within you.

Riftwalk

As a bonus action, you can teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within a number of feet equal to the movement you expend from your remaining speed for the turn. This movement must be equal to or less than the movement you have remaining for the turn.

You must see the destination, and the teleported distance is taken from your remaining speed for the turn.

Astral Bonds

You can form bonds with a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus. These can be creatures you know well or share an emotional connection with, and you may change bonded creatures after every level up.

Once per long rest, as an action, you enter a meditative trance to Astrally project. This trance requires 1 minute of uninterrupted concentration and renders you Blinded, Deafened, and Incapacitated. At the end of the meditation, you project your awareness into the Astral Plane for up to 10 minutes, during which you can observe one of your bonded creatures as though they were affected by the Scrying spell. You don't need material components or a spell slot to do so.

While projecting, you are considered concentrating, and the effect ends early if you lose concentration or your body takes damage.

Additionally, you may expend 5 sorcery points to instantly use Riftwalk from your Astral projection. When you do, your body vanishes and you reappear in a position within 5 feet of the bonded creatures you were Scrying.

Rapture

As a bonus action, you unleash your restraint on the Nexus, for the next minute space is yours to control within your limited range of influence. You gain an aura that extends 90 feet, centered on yourself, but not through full cover. The aura appears as a shimmering distortion in the air.

When you activate this feature, and on subsequent turns as an action, you may twist the space around one target within range of your aura. The target must make a Charisma saving throw, and on a failure, the target is teleported to an unoccupied space of your choice within 30 feet of their current location. The chosen space must be on a surface or in a liquid that can support the target without the target having to squeeze.

While the aura is active, you gain the following benefit.

  • When you use Riftwalk, you may expend 1 sorcery point to increase its range by 15 feet. This additional distance does not consume any of your remaining movement.

You may use this feature once per long rest, or expend 5 sorcery points on subsequent uses.

Planar Haven

After 1 minute of concentration, you tear a rift open in space in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you. The rift is 5 feet wide and 10 feet tall and remains open for 24 hours or until you dismiss it (no action required). Only you can perceive the rift, and only creatures in physical contact with you when you enter can follow you through.

The rift leads to a fully furnished extradimensional dwelling of your design. When you open it, you choose the layout – up to 50 contiguous 10-foot cubes – with decor and furnishing that appear according to your will. The atmosphere within is clean, temperate, and comfortable.

  • Objects created by the haven vanish into smoke if removed.
  • Items placed inside by mundane means remain indefinitely.
  • At the end of a long rest, you may reconfigure the floor plan. Rooms removed this way eject their contents into an unoccupied space near the rift when it is next opened.

You may only have one Planar Haven active at a time. Opening a new rift replaces the old one.
