Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Primordial entities that existed before the gods, the Titans. Beings so ancient that their power lorded over that of even the strongest god. They were banished from entering the material plane to prevent the balance of power from being overturned, however, many made pacts or granted abilities to individuals before being cast out, and this outraged the gods. Fearful of the powers that those who carried the will of the Titans may one day manifest, the gods searched for and placed upon them a restraint to seal away the powers. Multiple ethereal chains were placed upon the individual to restrict access to the power granted to them by the Titans.

No physical chains could be seen on the Sorcerer's body, but instead, they were born with tattooed rings that wrapped around their wrists, ankles, and throat, that may vary in color depending on the Titan. Someone with Truesight is able to see the ethereal chains, but is not able to interact with them.

Weight of the World

The restraints placed upon you by the gods has slightly lessened, as your innate power granted by the Titans begins to infuse your body to overcome the physical and magical burden. At 3rd level, your maximum Hit Points are increased by 10. Additionally, when you level up in this class, your health point maximum is increased by an additional 1 point.

Pride of the Great Ones

The Blood of the Titans flows within you, urging you to be stronger than any and everything, only allowing you to yield to the those that have proved their strength. At 1st level, you gain advantage on saving throws versus being Frightened, Restrained, Grappled, and Intimidated.

Indomitable Form

You have inherited the will of the Titan, refusing to be pushed around by lesser beings. At 6th level, you cannot be moved by magical or non-magical means if you do not want to (i.e. if a spell were to push you back, you are not moved unless you want to be moved).

Additionally, upon taking damage from an attack, you may use your reaction to become resistant to all damage until the start of your next turn. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1) per Long rest.

First Seal

At 14th level, your power has grown to the extent in which you can temporarily remove the First Seal of your Ethereal Chains. As an action, you can spend 3 sorcery points to surge power into the First Seal and gain the following benefits for the next minute:

  • You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift
  • You gain +1 to your AC
  • Your Spell DC is increased by 2
  • You are able to maintain concentration on up to two different spells. If you were to take damage, you must roll a concentration check for both spells

After the minute is up, you gain 1 point of exhaustion as the burden of the seal is placed back upon your body.

Second Seal

At 18th level, you have obtained enough power to temporarily break the Second Seal on your Ethereal Chains. In order to do so, you must have also unlocked the First Seal, you cannot jump immediately to the Second Seal. As an action, you may spend 5 Sorcery Points to temporarily unlock the Second Seal and gain the following effects for the next minute:

  • You count as two sizes larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift
  • You gain +3 to your AC
  • Your current HP is doubled
  • You gain immunity to non-magical bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage
  • Your Charisma Score is doubled for as long as the Second Seal is unlocked

After the minute, you gain 3 points of exhaustion as the burden of the Seals are placed back upon your body.
