Base Class: Cleric
Clerics of the Balance Domain are the quiet arbiters of the cosmos, dedicated to the precarious equilibrium between light and shadow, order and chaos, creation and destruction. They are not champions of pure good, nor servants of unadulterated evil, for they understand that even the noblest intentions, taken to an extreme, can curdle into tyranny, and that even the deepest darkness holds a necessary place in the grand design. Their path is one of keen observation, subtle intervention, and, when the great scales of fate tip too far, decisive action to restore harmony, often in ways unseen and unsung. They are protectors of neutrality, seekers of truth beyond dogma, and often act as mediators in intractable conflicts or as unyielding wardens against forces – divine or mortal – that would impose an absolute, monolithic will upon a multifaceted world. Their magic is one of counter-measures, subtle protections, truth-seeing, and gentle (or sometimes forcefully corrective) nudges to the threads of destiny.

Bonus Proficiencies
1st-level Order Domain feature
You gain proficiency with heavy armor. You also gain proficiency in the Insight, Investigation or Persuasion skill (your choice).
Warden of Equilibrium
At 1st level, when a creature you can see within 30 feet of you makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw with advantage or disadvantage, you can use your reaction to cause the roll to be made without advantage or disadvantage.
- You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Channel Divinity: Tip the Scales
2nd-level Order Domain feature
You can use your Channel Divinity to momentarily shift the balance of fate.
As an [Tooltip Not Found], you may present your holy symbol and choose one creature you can see within 60 feet of you that creature makes an attack roll or a saving throw, you can use to grant a bonus or a penalty (your choice at the time of the reaction) to that single roll equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of +1 or -1) + Proficiency. You must declare you are using this reaction before the outcome of the d20 roll is known.
Aegis of Impartiality
6th-level Order Domain feature
When you or a creature within 30 feet of you takes damage from a spell or attack originating from an aberration, celestial, elemental, fey, fiend, or undead, you can use your reaction to reduce that damage from that specific triggering instance by an amount equal to 1d10 + your cleric level.
- You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Retributive Balance
8th-level Order Domain feature
Your divine connection to Balance/Ishap allows you to directly intervene when the scales of fortune tip too dramatically. When a creature you can see within 60 feet of you experiences an extreme of luck, you can use your reaction to invoke divine balance:
- When an enemy scores a critical hit against you or an ally: The attacking creature immediately takes psychic damage equal to your Wisdom modifier + half your cleric level (rounded down). Additionally, one ally of your choice (which can be yourself) within 30 feet of the critically hit target gains temporary hit points equal to the psychic damage dealt to the attacker. These temporary hit points last for 1 minute.
- When you or an ally rolls a 1 on a d20 for an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw: You can allow that creature to reroll the die. They must use the new roll. Additionally, you can choose one enemy creature you can see within 30 feet of the creature that rerolled; that enemy takes psychic damage equal to your Wisdom modifier as the universe subtly corrects the imbalance.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Unwavering Center
17th-level Order Domain feature
You become a beacon of absolute balance, incredibly difficult to sway or harm through extreme forces. You gain the following benefits:
- You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, frightened, or possessed.
- When an effect would deal damage to you or any friendly creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to grant resistance to one damage type of that effect (your choice from among the types dealt by the effect) for all chosen creatures against that single instance of damage. Once you use this reaction, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
