Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Twisting fate with malice and mystery, the Coven Sorcerer draws on the eerie power of a hag’s bloodline or a dark bargain. With cursed magic, illusory terror, and shared knowledge, these spellcasters are occult manipulators of both minds and destiny.

Level 3: Level 3: Coven Spells

You always have the following spells prepared when you reach the listed levels in this class. They don’t count against your number of spells known.

Coven Spells
Sorcerer Level Spells

5 Bestow Curse, Remove Curse
7 Arcane Eye, compulsion
9 Dream, insect Plague

Level 3: Bargin Magic

You can trade vitality for magic—and magic for vitality.

  • Hit Dice to Sorcery Points: As a bonus action, you can spend 2 hit dice to gain 1 sorcery point. If used to cast a necromancy or divination spell immediately, it costs only 1 hit die.
  • Sorcery Points to Hit Dice: As a bonus action, you can spend 1 sorcery point to regain 1 expended hit die.

You also gain proficiency and expertise in Persuasion.

Level 6: Level 6: Covenant

You can share spells with an ally or draw magic from within.

  • Shared Magic: Once per long rest, choose a willing spellcasting ally. You both select a spell the other knows of a level equal to or less than ¼ your sorcerer level (minimum 1st). You can each cast the chosen spell once without a spell slot, or use your own slots.
  • Solo Magic: If no eligible ally is available, you can cast one spell from your Coven Spell list at each level you can access (1st–5th) once per day without expending a spell slot.

Level 14: Level 14: Unexpected Strength

At the end of a long rest, choose one of the following damage resistances: slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning. You gain that resistance until your next long rest.

Once per long rest, you may choose to automatically succeed on a Strength saving throw.

Level 18: Level 18: Gruesome Curses

When a creature makes a saving throw against a concentration effect, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage. If they already have disadvantage, they reroll one die and take the lower result.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier per long rest.

If the creature succeeds on the save, gain 2 sorcery points.
