Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of the Honeyed Bind draw inspiration from the properties of honey, using its stickiness and sweetness to bind their foes and enhance their own abilities. They are masters of control, using their ki to create bonds that can ensnare and immobilize enemies while promoting harmony and healing among allies.

3rd Level: Honeyed Resilience

You gain resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws against being poisoned. Additionally, when you use your ki to heal yourself or an ally, you can add your Wisdom modifier to the healing amount.

3rd Level: Sticky Strikes

When you choose this subclass at 3rd level, your unarmed strikes can create a sticky residue. When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to attempt to bind them in honey-like energy. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or be restrained until the end of your next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), regaining all expended uses after a long rest.

6th Level: Sweetened Aura

At 6th level, you can create an aura of sweet energy. As a bonus action, you can spend 3 ki points to create a 10-foot radius aura centered on you for 1 minute. Allies within the aura gain temporary hit points equal to your monk level at the start of their turn. Enemies that start their turn in the aura must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on their next attack roll.

11th Level: Binding Harmony

At 11th level, your binding techniques become more potent. When you successfully restrain a creature using your Sticky Strikes, you can choose to deal an additional 1d8 radiant damage to them. Additionally, you can use your reaction to grant an ally within 30 feet advantage on their next attack roll against a creature you have restrained.

17th Level: Master of the Honeyed Bind

At 17th level, you have perfected your binding techniques. You can now bind multiple creatures at once. When you use your Sticky Strikes feature, you can target an additional creature within 5 feet of the original target. Each creature must make a separate saving throw. Additionally, when you use your Sweetened Aura, you can increase the radius to 30 feet, and allies within the aura gain immunity to poison damage for the duration.
