Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Oracles focus on the school of Divination to foresee tragedy and fortune alike. These visions of the future help them avoid danger and harm, bolster themselves and their allies to success, and learn what hidden secrets the world has to offer.

Unlocked Divination

Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy an divination spell into your spellbook is halved.

You may add divination spells from other classes into your spellbook, and they count as wizard spells for you.

Portent

Starting at 2nd level when you choose this school, glimpses of the future begin to press in on your awareness. When you finish a long rest, roll two d20s and record the numbers rolled. You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with one of these foretelling rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn.

Each foretelling roll can be used only once. When you finish a long rest, you lose any unused foretelling rolls.

Abounding Divinations

Starting at 6th level, visions of the future permeate your every waking moment. You gain the following benefits:

  • You have advantage on Initiative rolls and cannot be Surprised.
  • If you are not wearing armor or wielding a shield, you may determine your armor class as 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Intelligence modifier.
  • When you expend a Portent die, you may roll a d6. On a 6, you regain a use of Portent for that day (roll the new Portent d20 immediately).

Dreamsight

Your dreams while resting foretell the day to come. At the conclusion of a long-rest, you may have done one of the following, ignoring casting time or spell components if applicable:

  • Cast Scry without expending a spell slot.
  • Cast Divination without expending a spell slot.
  • Cast Arcane Eye without expending a spell slot.
  • Cast Dream without expending a spell slot.

Omniscience

Your sight into the future is constant and affects all that you do. Once per long rest, you can cast Foresight on yourself without expending a spell slot. When cast this way, the spell requires Concentration.

After expending a Portent die, you regain one use of the feature on a roll of 5-6 on the d6.
