Base Class: Bard
In the grand symphony of existence, there are those who hear more than mere melodies. The bards of the College of the Harmony Absolute perceive the very fabric of reality as a cosmic composition, where every vibration, every frequency, and every rhythm is a note in the universe’s grand score. These extraordinary musicians don’t simply play instruments; they pluck at the invisible strings that weave through all creation. Their understanding of the mathematical underpinnings of harmony allows them to synchronize not just sounds, but actions and energies, creating moments of perfect unity that resonate with the fundamental truths of existence. When these bards perform, it’s as if reality itself holds its breath, listening to the echoes of its own inner workings.
Level 3: Fundamental Harmonics
Fundamental Harmonics
Starting at 3rd level, your knowledge of the mathematics governing harmony and frequency lends sublime virtuosity to your performances. You can add your Intelligence modifier to your Charisma (Performance) checks. You may add Intelligence modifier to Spell modifiers.
Level 3: Synchronous Call
Synchronous Call
Also starting at 3rd level, you can inspire your allies to act in unison, drawing extra power from synchronicity. As an action, you can spend one use of your Bardic Inspiration and choose a number of creatures up to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1) that you can see within 30 feet. Each target can use an extra reaction to move up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks or make a attack.
If all targets unanimously use their reactions to move or unanimously use their reactions to attack, each target gains a Bardic Inspiration die at the end of your turn. You can gain a Bardic Inspiration die in this way if you are one of the targets.
Level 6: Simultaneous Action
Simultaneous Action
Beginning at 6th level, when you would roll initiative, you can choose to use your reaction instead of rolling. If you do so, you can choose another creature you can see within 30 feet and share that creature’s place in the initiative order.
Level 14: Sublime Resonance
Sublime Resonance
Starting at 14th level, your magic harmonizes with reality, requiring no force or guidance from you to persist as it resonates sublimely. When you cast a spell on your turn that requires you to maintain your concentration on it, you can use your reaction at the end of your turn to remove the need for you to concentrate on it.
You can use this feature once and can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
