Bard
Base Class: Bard

A remote conservatory run by a devoted order of nuns produces the most angelic singers known to the world. Their voices never age, but retain the pure tone of children even into their adulthood. Only these singers, whose voices reach pitches that unlock mystical energies trapped in the vibrations of sound, know the grisly secret behind the transcendent power of their voices - the nuns cut off their gonads before puberty!

Voice of an Angel

Raising your voice to a heightened pitch allowed you to speak at frequencies that only celestials hear, and in time they taught you their language. By singing a magical song in Celestial, you can ward yourself against certain creatures: aberrations, celestials, elementals, fey, fiends, and undead The protection grants several benefits. Creatures of those types have disadvantage on attack rolls against you, and you can't be charmed, frightened, or possessed by them. If you are already charmed, frightened, or possessed by them, you have advantage on any new saving throw against the relevant effect. At level 6, you can target yourself and up to 2 other willing creatures, and you can use this ability twice per long rest. At level 14, you can target yourself and up to 5 other willing creatures, and you can use this ability three times per long rest.

Nothing There!

Once per long rest, when you are struck by a critical hit, you befuddle your opponent as they go for a low blow that does not produce the intended results. When you activate this ability, your attacker does not roll any additional dice for their critical hit, but instead rolls regular damage. At 11th level, you may use this ability twice per long rest, and at 17th level you may use it 3 times.

Alto Fortissimo

You let loose an ear-splitting wail in a pure, unquavering castrato, holding the note at full volume. The sound is audible out to 500 feet. Any creature within 30 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw or take 8d6 thunder damage and be deafened for 1 minute. A creature that fails the save by 5 or more is also Stunned for the same duration. Creatures that save take half damage and are not deafened.  A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. Starting at 17th level, you may use this ability twice per long rest.
