Level 3: Shar Themed Invocations
Add these invocations to the Warlock invocation options at the listed minimum level. They are listed as a class feature here because Eldritch Invocations aren't specifically available to homebrew. Level 3 was only selected here because any other options make it impossible to publish.

Endless Night – You can cast Darkness without spending a spell slot.

Sword of Darkness – You can cast Shadow Blade without spending a spell slot.
Cloak of Shadow – You can cast Invisibility without spending a spell slot.
Shadow Self
At 3rd level, you begin your transition into a shadow being. You gain the following benefits:
- You can cast the Darkness spell as a Magic Action without expending a spell slot, and with no components, a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum one). Once you use this ability you cannot use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
- You know the Devils Sight Invocation and it does not count as an invocation known. If you already know the Devil's Sight Eldritch Invocation, add 120 feet to its effective range.
- You learn the Misty Visions eldritch invocation. This does not count against your invocations known.
Level 3: Shar Patron Spells
At 3rd level, the magic of Shar makes sure you always have certain spells ready. When you reach a Warlock level specified in the Shar Patron Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
| Warlock Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Disguise Self, Silent Image, Invisibility, Silence |
| 5 | Counterspell, Major Image, Shadow Blade |
| 7 | Greater Invisibility, Phantasmal Killer |
| 9 | Creation, Modify Memory |
Level 3: Shadow Weave Magic
At 3rd level you can infuse your illusions with Shadowstuff from the Shadow Weave, making them appear more realistic. Add a +1 bonus to the DC of all spells you cast from the Illusion school of magic.
Level 6: Shadow Walk
At 6th level, you gain the ability to step from one shadow into another. When you are in dim light or darkness, as a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness.
Level 10: Shadow Conjurations & Shadow Evocations
At 10th level your patron grants you immense power and flexibility.
Shadow Conjurations
You can replicate certain Conjuration spells with the Major Image spell.
Select any Conjuration spell one level lower than your Warlock Spell Slot Level. This spell must create or fabricate an object, creature, or substance. Examples include Web and Cloudkill. This spell cannot duplicate Conjuration spells allowing teleportation (such as Misty Step or Teleport), spells creating new or extradimensional spaces (such as Magnificent Mansion or Demiplane), or if it creates a lasting effect but does not require Concentration (such as Floating Disc). You may use the Major Image spell to replicate the spell. The spell's target(s) make an INT saving throw to disbelieve the spell entirely, and if they succeed they ignore it and it has no effect. The spell operates normally on a failed saving throw. The spell has no effect on objects.
Duplicated spells dealing damage alway deal psychic damage, but the target believes they are of a type suitable for the replicated spell.
Shadow Evocations
Select any Evocation spell one level lower than your Warlock Spell Slot Level. Evocation spells that allow healing, whose effects are invisible (such as gust of wind, thunderwave, shatter, or wall of force), that rely on light (such as light, daylight, moonbeam, prismatic spray, sunbeam, or sunburst), or that use holy or unholy power (such as divine word or hallow) can’t be duplicated with this spell. A spell also can’t be duplicated if it creates a lasting manifestation and doesn’t require concentration or lasts after concentration ends (such as continual flame, contingency, forcecage, sending, telepathy, tiny hut, or wall of stone). Only creatures can be affected by the shadow evocation and the evocation has no effect on objects, energy, etc.
You may use the Major Image spell to replicate the spell. The spell's target(s) make an INT saving throw to disbelieve the spell entirely, and if they succeed they ignore it and it has no effect. The spell operates normally on a failed saving throw.
Duplicated spells dealing damage alway deal psychic damage, but the target believes they are of a type suitable for the replicated spell.
Level 10: Shadow Revenant
By 10th level, you are one with the shadows.
- When you are in an area of dim light or darkness, you can use your action to become invisible. You remain invisible until you make an attack, cast a spell, or are in an area of bright light.
- You have the option to select the spell Shadow Blade as your Pact of the Blade weapon.
Level 14: Greater Shadow Self
At 14th level, your Shadow Magic becomes even more powerful and versatile.
- You learn the Endless Night eldritch invocation, and it does not count as an invocation known. This replaces the first ability above.
- You learn the Witch Sight invocation. If you already know or later learn the Witch Sight invocation, add 30 feet to its effective range. This does not count against your invocations known. This augments and is in addition to the second ability above.
- Your Shadow Conjuration and Shadow Evocation class features now work with the Silent Image spell.
Level 14: Improved Shadow Weave Magic
The bonus provided by your Shadow Weave Magic ability increases by one to +2.
