Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

You might forge a bargain with a dracolich; a dragon deity like Tiamat or Bahamut; or even an ancient dragon that is especially old and powerful. That patron’s aims will depend on the patron, as the nature and alignment of various powerful draconic entities varies.

Level 3: Dragon Connection

When you take this subclass, you know the Draconic language if you don't already know it.

Additionally, your appearane changes in minor and subtle ways to take on attributes of your patron. (For example, you might notice a scale pattern on your skin, or your nails grow to resemble claws, or your hair start to change color.)

Level 3: Draconic Spells

The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Draconic Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Draconic Spells
Warlock Level Spells
3 Chromatic Orb, Disguise Self, See Invisibility
5 Fear, Fly
7 Leomund's Secret Chest, True Seeing
14 Prismatic Wall

Level 6: Dragons Hoard

The draconic urge to hoard wealth is overwhelming. You didn't realize taking on this aspect of your patron was part of the deal (maybe they didn't either). Your confidence is directly tied to you knowing you have more wealth than anyone else around you. As long as you have more gold (or gold value in coins, gems, jewels, art, etc.) than the rest of your party and anyone else in your vicinity (to the best of your knowledge), you have Advantage on Deception (Charisma), Persuasion (Charisma), and Intimidation (Charisma) skill checks.

To count as YOUR wealth, it must be either on your person, or in a container, demi plane, or other location to which only you have access. The moment that any amount of wealth is shared, it does not count as YOURS for the purpose of this feature.

Level 10: Dragonic Resilience

You now have resistance to a damage type associated to a particular color of dragon (that you and your DM agree makes sense given the patron). If your pateon is associated with more than one color and/or damage type, then once per Long Rest you may choose a different damage type associated with a dragon color or type of the same alignment as your patron.

In addition, when you are holding Concentration on a Warlock spell, you instead become immune to the chosen damage type, as your connection to your patron is especially strong then.

Level 14: Elemental Mastery

Your connection to dragonkind grows stronger. You don't just take on aspects on one particular color of dragon, but now have at least limited access to the abilities of dragons of various colors of the same alignment. (For example, if your patron is good then you may only take on aspects of metallic dragons, and if your patron is evil then you may only take on aspects of chromatic dragons, etc.)

You now have access to a limited version of the spell Prismatic Wall. Instead of the usual 7 colors and 7 damage types associated with the spell, the colors and damage types instead are associated to the colors of dragon that match your patron's alignment. See the table in the full description for details. (You and your DM may agree to other colors, damages, or effects.)
