An ancient form of martial arts, passed down through the ages by the servants of dragons.

Draconic Bond

You learn to speak, read and write Draconic.

Choose a type of dragon: Black, Blue, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Gold, Green, Red, Silver or White.

A wyrmling of that type seeks you out and bonds with you, becoming your companion (use the stats from the monster manual).

Your dragon shares your proficiency bonus and gains a number of hit dice equal to your level.

Your dragon can act independently in combat, though its turn is simultaneous with yours. It can make all the same actions, bonus actions and reactions as you and shares your Ki points, abilities and your walking speed.

You and your dragon gain a +1 bonus to your Armor Class when you are within 5ft of each other.

When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can forgo one of your attacks to have your dragon use its breath weapon.

Whenever you make an attack roll and miss, and your dragon is within 5ft of you, you can have your dragon make a bite attack against the same target.

When you are on the same plane of existence, you and your dragon always know each others exact location and can sense each others emotions and physical condition.

Black Dragon Wyrmling

You form a bond with a Black Dragon Wyrmling.

Blue Dragon Wyrmling

You form a bond with a Blue Dragon Wyrmling.

Brass Dragon Wyrmling

You form a bond with a Brass Dragon Wyrmling

Bronze Dragon Wyrmling

You form a bond with a Bronze Dragon Wyrmling.

Copper Dragon Wyrmling

You form a bond with a Copper Dragon Wyrmling.

Gold Dragon Wyrmling

You form a bond with a Gold Dragon Wyrmling

Green Dragon Wyrmling

You form a bond with a Green Dragon Wyrmling.

Red Dragon Wyrmling

You form a bond with a Red Dragon Wyrmling.

Silver Dragon Wyrmling

You form a bond with a Silver Dragon Wyrmling.

White Dragon Wyrmling

You form a bond with a White Dragon Wyrmling.

Twin Souls

You and your dragon have shared your life force and been strengthened by it. You both now hold the souls of each other allowing you to share the effects of healing magic and keep each other from death if either of you fall in battle.

Whenever you or your dragon regains hit points as the result of magic, the other member of the bond regains the same amount of hit points.

You make death saving throws with advantage while your dragon is alive, your dragon automatically stabilizes while you are alive.

If you die, your dragon dies.

Any effect that would restore you to life also restores your dragon.

Dragon Rage

You have mastered the elemental fury of your dragon, unlocking new ways to use your Ki to protect yourself and attack your enemies.

Your are now Immune to the damage type of your dragons breath weapon.

You can spend Ki points as an action to create one of the following effects.

- Dragon Blast - You unleash a blast of draconic energy. Starting in front of you, each creature in a 5ft wide, 100ft long line must make a dexterity saving throw, taking damage of the same type as your dragons breath weapon, equal to 2 of your martial arts dice x the number of Ki points you spent, on a failure, or half as much damage on a success.

- Thunderous Roar - An undulating wave of power erupts in a 60ft cone in front of you. Each creature in the cone must make a constitution saving throw, taking thunder damage equal to 1 of your martial arts dice x the number of Ki points you spent and being pushed away from you a number of feet equal to 5 x the number of Ki points you spent, on a failure, or half as much damage and not being pushed on a success.

- Draconic Slam - The strength of your dragon fills you and you release it as an explosion. Each creature within 15ft of you must make a dexterity saving throw, taking damage of the same type as your dragons breath weapon equal to 3 of your martial arts dice x the number of Ki points you spent, on a failed save, or half as much damage on a success.

 

Dragon Heart

You and your dragon are now inseparable.

You will live as long as your dragon does, your life-span increasing to match that of your draconic companion.

You have a full telepathic bond, allowing you to speak to each other wherever you are, this ability works across planes.

As an action you can teleport to your dragon and vice versa, this ability works across planes.
