Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Fly like  dragon and smash like a giant, pugilists prefer to let their fists do the talking when in combat. A pugilist comes in many forms, from the hard hitting power of the heavyweight, to the rapid punches of the lightweight, to the sneaky underhanded tactics of the streetfighter. As a pugilist, there are many places in Lothburg where a budding boxer can hone their skills. From the streets of New Ashes, to underground boxing rings, and even as an enforcer for one of the many gangs that run the streets.

Level 3: Boxing Style

As you hone your fighting skills, you will naturally gravitate towards one of the three boxing disciplines that are practiced in the city of Lothburgh. At 3rd level, choose from one of the following boxing styles: The Heavyweight, The Lightweight or The Streetfighter. The style that you choose will grant you different abilities at 3rd, 7th, 10th, and 15th level.

Heavyweight

Whenever a creature suffers damage from one of your unarmed strikes, you can add half your Strength modifier, rounded down, to the damage result. You have also learned how to take a hit. As a reaction, when an enemy hits you with an attack you can halve the damage. You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses on a long rest. The DC for your class features requiring a saving throw is 8 + Strength modifier + Proficiency bonus.

Lightweight

Your unarmed strikes count as finesse weapons, so long as you are wearing light armor or no armor at all. As a reaction, whenever an enemy enters your reach, you can immediately move up to half your speed without provoking attacks of opportunity. You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses after a long rest. The DC for your class features requiring a saving throw is 8 + Dexterity modifier + Proficiency bonus.

Street Fighter

You gain Proficiency with improvised weapons and they count as finesse weapons for you. When you make an attack roll with an improvised weapon, you can use your bonus action to make an Unarmed Strike against the same creature. As a reaction, whenever an enemy makes an attack roll against you while you are holding an improvised weapon, you can smash, throw or otherwise use the improvised weapon to distract the enemy to force them to reroll the attack and take the lower roll. You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus and regain all uses on a long rest. The DC for your class features requiring a saving throw is 8 + Strength or Dexterity (your choice when selecting this fighting style) modifier + Proficiency bonus.

Master Of The Fist

As a world class fighter, you have learned to master multiple boxing styles to create one that is unique to you. At 18th level, pick a second boxing style. You gain all features associated with it, and can choose which effect to use whenever you make an Unarmed Strike or use your Second Wind or Action Surge abilities.
