Circle of The Lunar Moose Spells

When you reach a Druid level specified in the Circle of the Lunar Moose Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

In addition, you can cast the spells from this feature while you’re in a Wild Shape form.

Lunar Moose Shape

At 3rd level, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature as a bonus action to transform into a unique form: The Lunar Moose shape. You become a Large moose while in this form, standing on all fours, but retain your normal character statistics and senses. Your Moose shape’s AC is equal to 13 + your Wisdom modifier and has a climbing speed. In addition, when you take this form, you gain temporary hit points equal to your hit point maximum. When you return to your normal form, you lose any remaining temporary hit points.

You can remain in this form for a number of hours equal to half your druid level, rounded down. You can revert to your normal form earlier by using a bonus action on your turn. You automatically revert if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die.

When you use your Moose shape, you determine what type of element to transfuse with. The type of element determines your miasma's color and breath weapon’s damage type, as shown in the table below, but your appearance is otherwise up to you.

Antlers. When you take the Attack action, you can use your radiant antlers to make an unarmed strike. You can use your Wisdom modifier, instead of Strength, for the attack and damage rolls with your bite. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d12 + your Strength or Wisdom modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

Miasma Breath Weapon. You can use an action to exhale a plume of powerful miasma from inside of you. Each creature in a 15-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC. A creature takes 2d6 damage of your moose’s damage type on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. Once you use this feature, it can’t be used again for 1 minute.

Your breath weapon improves at certain levels. At 6th level, your breath weapon deals 3d6 damage and extends in a 20-foot cone. At 10th level, it deals 4d6 damage and extends in a 25-foot cone, and at 14th level it deals 5d6 damage and extends in a 30-foot cone.

Miasma Damage Type
Flesh Rot Acid
Nerve Shock Lightning
Blood Boiler Fire
Patristical Poison
Frostbite Cold

Improved Moose Shape

By 6th level, your control over your moose shape has improved, granting you the following benefits while in that form:

Lunar Radiance. Each of your attacks in a Moose Wild Shape form can deal its normal damage type or Radiant damage. You make this choice each time you hit with those attacks.

Hooves. Your razor-sharp Hooves are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. You can use your Wisdom modifier, instead of Strength, for the attack and damage rolls with your hooves. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 2d6 + your Strength or Wisdom modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike. When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can make one attack with your Antlers and one attack with your Hooves.

Predator Sight. You have darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. If you already have darkvision from your species, its range increases by 30 feet.

Elder Lunar Moose

Starting at 10th level, you’re control of the Lunar Moose shape improves vastly. You can take a Bonus Action and expend a use of Wildshape to transform into the Elder Lunar Moose. You gain the following benefits while in your elder moose shape:

  • You may now choose to Transfuse with Morbus Lunaris: Radiant is now your Miasma element.
  • You have resistance to the damage type associated with your moose shape.
  • You have a flying speed of 30 feet.

Once you expend a Wildshape, you cannot become the Elder Lunar Moose until you finish a Long Rest, or expend a 5th+ level spell slot (No action required).
