Spellslinger 2024

A Spell Slinger blends arcane prowess with pinpoint accuracy, turning ranged weapons into conduits for magical force. They strike with both spell and shot, weaving enchantments into arrows and bullets while navigating battlefields with charm and calculated precision.

Level 3: Arcane Marksmanship

You gain proficiency with all ranged weapons. While wielding a magic ranged weapon, you can use your Intelligence modifier instead of Dexterity for attack and damage rolls made with that weapon.

Additionally, whenever you make a Charisma ability check, you can add your Intelligence modifier to the result.

Level 6: Triggercasting

When you cast a spell using a spell slot, you can make a ranged weapon attack as a bonus action. This attack deals extra damage equal to the level of the spell slot expended.

Additionally, when you use Arcane Recovery, you gain temporary hit points equal to your wizard level + your Intelligence modifier.

Level 10: Arcane Ricochet

Once per turn, when you make a ranged weapon attack or cast a spell that targets only one creature, and miss, you can redirect the attack toward a different creature within 30 feet of the original target. Make a new attack roll or saving throw check against the new target (as appropriate for the spell or attack).

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of once), and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Level 14: Spellshot

When a creature you can see within 30 feet makes a ranged weapon attack or a spell attack against you or an ally, you can use your reaction to force the attacker to make an Intelligence saving throw against your spell save DC.

On a failed save, you can choose to have the attack miss or redirect it to another creature of your choice within 30 feet of the original target. On a success, the attack proceeds as normal.

You can use this feature once per short or long rest.
