Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

You see it there, your shadow. Everyone else can see it as well, but not like you can. It looks back at you, it smiles, it laughs, it frowns, it growls. It's you... but its not you. It's there, showing you pictures of tragedy, of Omens, of Hope, of Miracles. It scares you, yet you can never look away. You don't understand why, but you need your shadow, and something tells you the shadow needs you as well.

One day, your shadow just... got up. Right off the floor and watched you stand there. At that moment, something clicked, you could prevent the many tragedies... or cause them if you so wished. In an instant, you joined hands, a smile stretching over yourself, and the shadow smiled too. The future was yours, only ours, and now we will shape it.

Through a Void's Eyes

Starting at level 1, your Shadow lends you its eyes and ears. As a bonus action, your Shadow may detach from you and move around on its own. During this, you both see and hear what the Shadow does. This feature ends if the Shadow is exposed to bright light, gets over 60 ft away from the you, or if you use a bonus action to end it.

The Shadow may move up to 60 ft from you. It can go through any sized crack, grate, hole, ect. It must be connected to an object at all times, meaning it cannot cross any non connected surfaces. For example, the Shadow may not jump between two floating platforms. It cannot enter bright lights of any means, whether it be magical or natural.

You may use this feature up to your Charisma modifier level (at a minimum of 1). This feature renews after a long rest.

Dragging Darkness

At level 6, you know your Shadow will always have your back. As a reaction, your Shadow can shoot off 10 ft away from you in any direction in a 5 ft circle. Any creature it lands on must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is knocked prone and takes 1d12 Necrotic damage.

After using this feature, you cannot use it again until a short or long rest.

Armor in Dark Places

At level 10, your Shadow blessed you with a piece of themselves. You gain resistance to Necrotic damage.

Devoured by Darkness

At level 14, you and your Shadow can now bring others to it's home dimension. Using your round, you touch a creature and drag it to your Shadow's home dimension. The creature takes 14d10 necrotic damage and returns on its turn. If the creature is undead, it is trapped in the Void forever, becoming part of your Shadow's power. You regain hit points equal to the undead's CR level.

After using this feature, you gain 1 point of exhaustion.

You cannot use this feature again until after a long rest.
