Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your magic is born of battle — granted by a war god, forged in the heart of a legendary conflict, or drawn from the living essence of war itself. The power within you is raw, furious, and unrelenting. While other sorcerers strike from afar, you charge into the fray, your arcane might fused with steel, sweat, and blood.

As a Warborn sorcerer, you wield magic like a weapon and fight alongside warriors — not because you must, but because it is your calling.

Level 3: War Blessed Spells

When you reach a Sorcerer level specified in the War Blessed Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

War Blessed Spells
Sorcerer Level Spells
3 Divine Favor, Heroism, Enlarge/Reduce, Spiritual Weapon
5 Slow, Counterspell
7 Stoneskin, Fire Shield
9 Flame Strike, Dominate Person

Level 3: Aegis Armor

Aegis Armor
Beginning at level 3, you can summon a mystical battle armor as a bonus action. While active (until you end it as a free action), you gain:

  • AC Bonus: Your Armor Class increases by your Charisma modifier (minimum +1).

  • Battle’s Boon: You gain temporary hit points equal to twice your sorcerer level.

  • Warfare Focus: You add your Charisma modifier to Constitution saving throws to maintain concentration on spells.

  • Melee Spells: You dont have disadvantage, if you use ranged spells under the min. range.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all uses when you finish a long rest.

You may choose the appearance of your Aegis Armor. You also can roll on the Aegis Armor Appearance table.

Aegis Armor Appearance
1d4 Appearance
1 Spectral Samurai Dō, ghostly lacquer that shifts color from red to black as you move.
2 Mercury‑like Plates, liquid metal that flows around you in rhythm with your heartbeat.
3 Frost‑forged Iceplate, etched with ancient runes and trailing mist with every step.
4 Shadow‑woven Plate, formed from swirling darkness and flickering with ghostly violet light.

War Blessed Knowledge

Starting at 3rd level, your warborn magic hardens your body and sharpens your instincts for battle.

  • You gain proficiency with martial weapons.

  • Additionally, your hit point maximum increases by 2 per sorcerer level, and increases by 2 again whenever you gain a level in this class.

Level 6: Extra Attack

Beginning at 6th level, your training in both magic and martial combat allows you to blend them seamlessly.

When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can attack twice, instead of once.
Additionally, you can replace one of those attacks with the casting of a cantrip with a casting time of 1 action.

War Blessed Arsenal

Starting at 14th level, your Warborn Aegis grants you a weapon forged from arcane essence — a true extension of your will and magic.

While your Aegis Armor is active, you can manifest a weapon of your choice (any martial melee weapon you are proficient with) as part of the armor. This Arcane Armament has the following properties:

  • It counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity.

  • You may use your Charisma modifier in place of Strength or Dexterity for attack and damage rolls with this weapon.

  • You add your Charisma modifier (minimum +1) to the weapon’s damage rolls.

  • The weapon gains the Thrown (range 20/60) property. If thrown, you can summon it back to your hand as a bonus action.

  • The weapon serves as your spellcasting focus for sorcerer spells.

  • Its damage type changes to match the damage type of the last spell you cast (e.g., fire, lightning, necrotic, etc.).

You can summon or dismiss the weapon as a bonus action. Only one Arcane Armament can exist at a time.

Level 18: Warborn

Your bond with your arcane war-source has reached its peak — you are no longer just a spellcaster, but a true avatar of divine battle

Adaptive Aegis

  • When you summon your Warborn Aegis, you may spend 2 sorcery points to gain resistance to one damage type of your choice (excluding force and psychic). While the Aegis is active, you can use a bonus action and spend 1 sorcery point to change that resistance to a different eligible damage type. You can benefit from only one resistance from this feature at a time.

  • Once per long rest, when you would be reduced to 0 hit points, you are instead reduced to 1 hit point. This effect triggers automatically and does not require a reaction. Your Aegis remains active.
  • You are immune to being frightened.

Your conjured Arcane Armament is now fully attuned to your magic. Whenever you make a weapon attack with it, you may choose whether the weapon deals:

  • Its normal damage type

  • The damage type of the last spell you cast

  • The damage type you are currently resistant to via Adaptive Aegis
