Base Class: Monk
Monks who follow in the way of the Crystal Fist devote themselves to the art of focused, devastating impacts - placing a single strike that can shatter even the mightiest of foes. These monks have mastered the art of channeling their Ki into singular, lethal strike, blending raw power with perfect timing.
Level 3: Crystal Fist Technique
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain the ability to spend a bonus action focusing your Ki on delivering a precise and devastating strike. You can choose to spend one or more of your Ki points before making an attack to empower your strike. Each Ki point consumed adds an additional martial arts dice to your roll. The number of Ki points you choose to consume must be declared before making the attack roll.
Additionally, when you gain the Extra Attack feature, you may only make one attack when using this feature, but may add an additional martial arts die.
Fist of Destruction
At 6th level and beyond, when using Crystal Fist technique, attacks made with your fist are considered siege weapons and deal double damage to objects and structures. If you destroy the object with the attack, you can regain half of the Ki points used.
At 9th level and beyond, you instead regain all of the Ki points you used if the target object is destroyed.
Level 6: Exploit Weakness
At 6th level, you have learned how to direct your attacks as precisely as possible to inflict maximum disorientation. Your stunning strikes now last until the end of your next turn. Additionally, any attack roll you make against a stunned creature is a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 on the d20.
Level 11: Sundering Strike
Beginning at 11th level, when you use 3 or more Ki points as part of your Crystal Fist technique attack, the power behind the impact causes a conical shockwave behind the target. Any creature in a 15 ft. cone behind the target takes force damage equal to half the bonus damage granted by the Crystal Fist feature, and must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be knocked prone.
Each additional Ki points used past the 3rd during your Crystal Fist attack extends the range of the cone by 5ft.
Level 17: Perfect Execution
Your mastery of focused strikes rewards calculation and precision. Starting at 17th level, When you make an attack with your Crystal Fist feature and reduce the target to 0 hit points, you immediately regain all of the Ki points expended as part of the attack.
