Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks who follow the Way of the Perfect Balance believe that true mastery comes not from excelling in one area, but from achieving harmony among all aspects of the self. To them, strength without control is reckless, speed without resilience is fragile, and wisdom without discipline is empty.

Through rigorous training of body and mind, these monks pursue a state of physical, mental, and spiritual perfection. They strive to balance power and precision, instinct and intellect, force and endurance. Theirs is not the path of specialization, but of integration — becoming the most complete version of a human that one can be.

Training of Endurance and Discipline

At 3rd level, you begin the path toward perfect harmony between body and mind. Your Constitution and Intelligence scores each increase by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Enduring Form: When you make a Constitution saving throw you can gain advantage. You can use this feature once per short rest.

Disciplined Focus: You gain proficiency on a intelligence based skill.

Training of Reaction and Perception

Senses must move in perfect harmony with the body. A sharp mind means nothing if it cannot see clearly or act swiftly. You refine your awareness and reflexes until they move as one.

Balanced Reflexes: Your Dexterity and Wisdom scores each increase by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Instinctive Flow: Your body responds instinctively to threats. You can take one additional reaction per round. You may use this ability a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up). All expended uses refresh when you finish a short or long rest.

Heightened Senses: You gain proficiency in the Perception skill. If you already have it, you instead gain expertise, allowing you to double your proficiency bonus on Perception checks.

Training of Strength

True strength is not only the might of muscle, but the force of presence. A perfectly balanced warrior understands that power flows from both body and soul.

  • Balanced Force: Your Strength and Charisma scores each increase by 1, to a maximum of 20.

  • Guided Power: When you make a weapon attack using Dexterity, you may add half your Strength modifier (rounded down) to the damage.

  • Inner Presence: You may add half your Strength modifier (rounded down) to Charisma ability checks you make.

Perfectly Balanced

You have reached the pinnacle of human potential — every aspect of your mind, body, and spirit flows in perfect harmony. As a result, the disciplines you’ve honed throughout your journey now resonate in their most refined form.

Your Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores each increase by +1, to a maximum of 20.

Unbreakable Body: You can use Enduring Form a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up) per short rest.

Clarity of Mind: You gain proficiency in Intelligence saving throws. If you already have this proficiency, you can gain advantage number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up) per short rest.

Flowing Response:
You may use Instinctive Flow a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short rest.

Eyes of the Master:  You gain blindsight out to a distance equal to half your passive Perception score (rounded up), in feet. (Example: If your passive Perception is 22, you gain blindsight 11 ft.)

Empowered Strikes: When making a weapon attack using Dexterity, you may add your full Strength modifier to the damage.

Commanding Presence: You may add your Strength modifier to all Charisma ability checks. In addition, when you make an Intimidation check, you may treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
