Base Class: Rogue
Many rogues prefer to stay out of the thick of combat. Stilettos, however, choose to strike fast and strike hard. They are specialists with knives and daggers, using short blades to enhance their fighting abilities for unparalleled ferocity in combat. Rather than using ranged weapons or hit-and-run tactics, the Stiletto prefers to dispatch their foes quickly and efficiently, before they get a chance to strike back. They would heartily agree that the best defense is a good offense.
Level 3: Knife Fighter
Level 3: You gain the following benefits while wielding a dagger:
* You may wield any Melee weapon that lacks the Heavy and Two-Handed properties in your other hand, and treat this weapon as if it has the Light property.
* When you use a dagger to make an extra attack as a result of using a weapon that has the Light property, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of that attack if you aren't already adding it to the damage.
* You have Advantage on Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) checks that involve knives or daggers, such as performing party tricks or cutting away someone's coin purse.
Defensive Posture
Level 3: You know how to use your dagger to supplement your defenses. When you take the Attack action on your turn and deal your Sneak Attack damage to a creature, you can take a Bonus Action to roll a d4 and add the number rolled to your Armor Class until the start of your next turn.
Level 9: Close Quarters Expert
Level 9: You have learned how to use your knife skills to make your enemies more vulnerable in the following ways:
* If you are wielding a dagger in either hand, you can use it to make an Opportunity Attack against a creature when it enters your reach. If you do not have Disadvantage on this attack, you can apply your Sneak Attack damage on a hit.
* When you hit a creature with a dagger, the next attack roll against that creature is made with Advantage.
Level 13: Blade Whirlwind
Level 13: When you deal your Sneak Attack damage to a creature, you can also deal that damage to any number of additional creatures of your choice within your reach. You can use this feature twice, and you regain all expended uses at the end of a Long Rest.
Level 17: Grim Anatomist
Level 17: Your experience with daggers lends you unparalleled knowledge of anatomical vulnerabilities, conveying the following benefits:
* You have resistance to Piercing damage as long as you are not Incapacitated, as you know how to shield these weak points on your own body.
* You can strike your foes in these vulnerable areas, causing lasting damage. When you deal your Sneak Attack damage to a creature, you can force that creature to make a Constitution save (DC: 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your attack ability modifier). On a failed save, for 1 minute, the target takes half your Sneak Attack damage at the beginning of each of its turns, and its speed is halved. On a successful save, the target immediately takes half your Sneak Attack damage, and suffers no further effects. The target can repeat this save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. If the target receives magical healing, it can immediately attempt the save with Advantage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses after you finish a Long Rest.
