Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

Not all rangers stalk beasts through the forest—some stalk their prey through crowded cities, high towers, and warzones. These rangers train to eliminate their targets with precision, stealth, and lethal efficiency.

3rd Level: Marked for Death

You learn to mark targets for swift elimination. As a bonus action, choose a creature you can see within 60 feet. The mark lasts for 1 hour or until you mark a different creature. While marked:

  • You deal an extra 1d6 weapon damage when you hit the target.

  • You have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) and Intelligence checks to track or gather information about the target.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

3rd Level: Agent’s Training

You gain proficiency in Stealth. If you already have it, your proficiency bonus is doubled for Stealth checks.

You also gain proficiency with one of the following: Disguise kit, Thieves’ tools, Poisoner’s kit, or Tinker’s tools.

7th Level: Silent as the Grave

You can attempt to hide even when only lightly obscured and in plain view of your marked target. When you are hidden and miss with a weapon attack, your location is not revealed.

Additionally, when you use your Marked for Death bonus damage against a surprised creature, you score a critical hit on a 19–20.

11th Level: Death from Above

When you attack a creature from a position at least 10 feet above it, the attack has advantage. If the creature is unaware of your presence, the attack becomes a critical hit on a successful hit.

You can use this ability once per turn.

15th Level: Silent Execution

As an action, you can make a single weapon attack against a creature marked by your Marked for Death feature. If the attack hits, the creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Dexterity modifier) or be reduced to 0 hit points.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
