Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Shadowfangs are killers who treat the shadows as their home and the battlefield as their hunting ground. They strike when least expected — from the moment the first blade flashes, it’s already too late. Their craft blends supernatural stealth with lethal accuracy, turning every encounter into a deadly game of positioning and timing.

To witness a Shadowfang in action is to see an enemy dissolve into thin air, only to reappear where their foe is most vulnerable. Their strikes are precise, their retreats untraceable, and their presence as fleeting as a breath in the cold night.

Those who survive such an encounter often speak of the same thing: they never saw the Shadowfang coming — only the cold glint of steel before darkness claimed them.

Veil of Blades

You learn to vanish and strike in the same breath.

  • As a bonus action, you can turn invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack or force a creature to make a saving throw.

  • You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Critical Gambit

Your strikes are calculated to hit where it hurts most.

  • Your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 against creatures that haven’t taken a turn yet in combat or against creatures that are unaware of your presence.

Shadow Step

While in dim light or darkness, you can teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness. Your next melee weapon attack before the end of the turn has advantage.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Lingering Death

Your critical hits inflict a persistent, magical wound.

  • When you score a critical hit, the target takes extra damage equal to 2d6 at the start of its next turn. The damage type matches your weapon’s damage type.

One with the Dark

You are nearly impossible to pin down in darkness. While in dim light or darkness, you gain the following benefits:

  • Advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.

  • You can’t be tracked by nonmagical means.

  • You can use your Veil of Blades feature at will (no usage limit).
