Base Class: Fighter
Natural Cover
Starting at 3rd level, you learn how to use the environment to improve your defenses. When you are using an obstacle to provide cover, you can treat half cover as three-quarters cover and three-quarters cover as full cover.
Great Shield
Beginning at 3rd level, creatures directly behind you are considered to be behind three-quarters cover.
Armored Blow
At 7th level, you are a master of turning defense into offense. Once per round, when you land an attack against a creature, you can use your bonus action to force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 10 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, add half your AC (rounded down) to the damage roll, as you strike your opponent with the full weight of your body.
You have three uses of this feature, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Rally Defense
Starting at 10th level, you possess the ability to bless yourself and your allies with incredible defense. As an action, you can call out a rallying cry. Until your next turn, you and any willing creature you choose within 15 feet of you gain an increase to their armor class equal to half your Constitution modifier (rounded down, min of 1).
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier. You regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Levity
At 15th level, you have become so accustomed to your armor that you have become more nimble. You gain the following benefits:
- Your Strength score is increased by 1, to a maximum of 20
- Your movement speed is increased by 10 feet
- Heavy armor no longer imposes disadvantage on your stealth checks
Pavise
At 18th level, your defensive capabilities are blessed by the gods themselves. Whenever you would take any amount of damage from an attack with a melee weapon from a creature you can see, you can use your reaction to roll a d20. If the roll on the d20 is a 20, you can completely ignore the damage instead.
