 Rubber duckies, though small and unassuming, are holy symbols of purity, joy, and the unshakable buoyancy of the soul. Paladins who swear this oath bind themselves to spreading laughter, comfort, and the squeaky justice of the duck. Their powers are drawn from the eternal bathwaters of the cosmos, where the Primeval Duck floats forever.

Tenets of the Duck

The Oath of the Rubber Duck is centered on whimsy, levity, and kindness. Its exact wording varies, but these principles are universal:
Float On. Stay resilient. No matter how deep the waters, you will always rise.
Squeak Loud. Be heard, whether in joy or in battle. Do not let the world silence your spirit.
Bring Joy. Even in darkness, remind others that laughter exists.
Protect the Bath. The world is the great bathtub; guard it against filth and corruption.

Level 3: Oath of the Rubber Duck Spells

The magic of your oath ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Paladin level specified in the Oath of the Rubber Duck Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Level 3: Channel Divinity

Squeak of Justice.,
As an action, you present your holy rubber duck and unleash a divine squeak. Choose a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier {{modifier:chr}} within 30 feet. They must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by you until the end of your next turn.
Buoyant Blessing.,
As a bonus action, you present your duck. You and allies within 10 feet gain resistance to bludgeoning damage and can move across water as if it were solid ground for 1 minute.

Level 7: Aura of Buoyancy

Your mere presence keeps spirits afloat. You and friendly creatures within 10 feet cannot be knocked prone, and whenever you or an ally within the aura starts their turn in water, they rise harmlessly to the surface.
At 18th level, this aura extends to 30 feet.

Level 15: Duck’s Resilience

Your soul is as indestructible as your squeaky companions. You gain resistance to psychic damage, and whenever you succeed on a Wisdom saving throw, you may let out a triumphant squeak as a reaction. When you do, one ally within 30 feet gains temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier {{modifier:chr}}  + half your paladin level {{(classlevel/2)}}.

Avatar of the Duck

At 20th level, you become the living champion of the Primeval Duck. As an action, you transform for 1 minute:
A glowing halo of rubber duckies orbits you.
You gain a flying speed of 30 feet, buoyed on bubbles.
You are immune to being frightened or charmed.
Once on each of your turns when you hit with a weapon attack, you may cause a spectral duck to appear and bite the target, dealing an additional 2d8 radiant damage.
Allies who start their turn within 30 feet gain advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
