Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Heartrenders are one of the most feared Grisha types and were considered the most valuable in the Second Army under the Darkling’s rule many years ago. Their ability and training allow them to manipulate the body of another person to cause harm; for example, a Heartrender can stop a human heart or prevent air from entering the lungs. Being a Grisha, especially a Heartrender, is a difficult life to live. Most people are to shy away from you if they know what you are, but if you keep your Grisha identity hidden, then you cannot be picked out from a crowd. Being a Grisha as its perks and drawbacks:

Your powers don’t affect animals

You need to see the target to be able to affect them

You can’t use your powers or cast spells if your hands are restricted.

You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill

Grisha's Curse

At 1st level, you can slow the healing process rather than quicken it. As a bonus action, you can target a creature within 30 feet of you, that creature must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target can’t regain hit points for the next minute. You can do this a number of times equal to your level +1.

Hidden Heart

At 6 level, you have learned to keep your Grisha presence under wraps. You can cast Disguise Self a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier each day, this does not count towards your list of spells and doesn’t take up a spell slot.

Gripping Heart

At 14 level, by encouraging the release of certain chemicals in the body, you can influence a person's emotions. As an action, you can target a creature within 60 feet of you and lower or quicken their heart rate. The creature makes a Wisdom saving throw. With a failed save, the creature is considered Charmed or Frightened by you until you let go of their heart. During this time, you can also control their body, making them move up to their movement speed in any direction you wish. This would be treated as a spell with concentration. A creature that succeeds the saving throw is immune to you for 8 hours.

Stop Heart

At 18 level, you have mastered your abilities in Heartrending. As an action, you can target a creature with a heart and cause rapid death. The creature makes a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, their heart stops immediately. As long as you and the target are not interacted with by any means, on your next turn, the creature falls to 0 hit points and fails their first Death saving throw.
