Bard
Base Class: Bard

The college of companionship bard wields the expressive magic and musical talents of a more traditional bard but is aided by powerful guardians in the form of harmonic companions.

Level 3: Harmonic Companion

3rd Level: harmonic Companion

You form a contract of companionship with a mythical creature, who follows you and aids you where it can. Your Companion is type Fey, and it can take any appearance that you choose. Regardless of its appearance, you choose one of the options below to determine its stats. The Companion takes its own turns in combat, acting immediately after your turn, and you may control it directly. It cannot use an action unless you use a bonus action to command it to do so, but it can take reactions. If it is given no command that takes its action, it takes the dodge action on its turn. If your harmonic Companion dies, it disappears and reappears next to you at the completion of your next long rest. At the end of a long rest, you may change which form and stat block your Companion uses.
