Base Class: Barbarian
The human body can only channel so much rage... The mechanical body can endure so much more.
Level 3: Steam Heart
Have a mechanical heart: Although vulnerable to thunder and lightning, a mechanical heart gives you a barbarian skill and an artificer skill.
Level 6: Overclock
Channel a mechanical rage.
While active, you cannot cast spells but can cast cantrips. Reduce your crit from nat 20 to 19, and add proficiency bonus again to all attacks, even when not proficient, and even if proficiency is already added. Can only use 5 times per long rest and only lasts one turn unless you spend another use to extend it ( which is also a bonus action).
Level 10: Cybernetic Enhancements
Choose to have either an Endoskeleton or Exoskeleton.
Endoskeleton
Bones are unnecessary, machine is all that is left...
Gain the spells : Alarm, Disguise Self, Heat Metal, and Burning Hands.
Also gain the Charger Feat and ignore speed reductions from Heavy Armor.
Exoskeleton
Armor is unnecessary, metal skin is good enough.
Gain Stoneskin and resistance to bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing from nonmagical sources. However, have stealth disadvantage, and reduce speed by 10.
Level 14: Boiled in Black Honey
Advanced from the steam of old, to the oil of the modern age. Not only does it put a fire beneath you, but allows you to expend your wrath into it's purest form.
Become large, be vulnerable to fire, and gain a list of spells: Fire Bolt, Fear, Grease, Fire Shield, and Detect Poison and Disease.
