Bestiarii

Gladiators trained to face the kings of the world, animals. They put on a show of dominance against nature's best warriors, and do so with grace.

You are proficient in animal handling, you pick a simple weapon to be proficient in, and you have a favored enemy in beasts.

Diplomachus

All offensive and no defensive. With two blades in your possession, you are nothing short of a monster.

Have the dual wielder feat, replace weapon proficiency to scale with dexterity, and ignore dual wielding modifier restrictions.

Murmillo

The coliseum is a castle, and Murmillo is the king of it. Large warriors, and perfect all rounders, Murmillo are forces of nature most gladiators cannot tame.

Choose 3 weapons to be proficient in, be an expert on one. Your melee damage is raised, and your armor class is too.

Retiarius

Small yet tactical. The David to the Goliaths of the arena. Although their options are limited, a great strategy can turn the tides and send the Goliath to an early grave.

You are proficient in nets and javelins, you have advantage on stealth, and your dexterity saves are heightened by 2.

Scissor

Mysterious, vicious, and delicious 🤤. The audience cannot help but eat you up. Scissors have many unique weapons and fighting styles that just allure people to them. No one may ever see your face, but you're the most popular warrior to grace this arena.

Gain two bard Cantrips, become proficient in an armor of your choice, pick a rare/ unique weapon to be proficient in, and raise your charisma or intelligence by one.

Secutor

The wall of the arena, unmoving and powerful. Defense is all you know, preferring to tire out your opponents before crushing them.

You gain half proficiency with heavy armor, your speed is no longer affected by heavy armor, you gain expertise in any armor of your choice, and get to choose a resistance.

Rudiarius

Become a veteran of the coliseum. Your martial prowess grows and you earned your right to retire... But do you want to? That's what I thought. The road to becoming a legend starts here soldier.

Increase all your ability checks by one, become an expert in one skill, and choose a feat.

Palus

Although a champion, your journey is not finished. As long as someone else is above you, there is no reason to quit.

Choose a feat, increase initiative by one, and increase charisma by one.

Primus Palus

The peak of the gladiators...

 Be immune to the frightened condition, and choose a damage type to be resistant to, and gain an ability called Rampage.

Rampage allows you to throw a flurry of devastating blows to shred your opponents quickly.

Legend

For as long as you live, your name will echo as the greatest gladiator, no greatest warrior of all time.
