Base Class: Warlock
Demand Your Greatest Desires from the Inner Planes.
Your power draws on a powerful being from the inner planes. Your patron might be a a noble genie from one of the elemental planes, such as Husam al-Balil ben Nafhat al-Yugayyim, Great Caliph of the Citadel of Ice and Steel in the Elemental Plane of Air; Kabril Ali al-Sara al-Zalazil, Great Khan of the Dismal Delve in the Elemental Plane of Earth; Marrake al-Sidan al-Hariq ben Lazan, Sultan of the City of Brass in the Elemental Plane of Fire; or Kalbari al-Durrat al-Amwaj ibn Jari, Great Padishah of the Citadel of Ten Thousand Pearls in the Elemental Plane of Water. Or you could have your deal with a collection of different elementals of great power, which all owe you some debt for a deed you had done to aid them.
Level 3: Genie Spells
The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Genie Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared. If a spell is beyond the level of your pact slot, you always have this spell as an option to cast with your Mystic Arcanum feature should you have the ability to cast a spell of that level.
| Warlock Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Chromatic Orb, Detect Evil and Good, Dragon's Breath, Elementalism, Phantasmal Force, Sorcerous Burst |
| 5 | Create Food and Water, Magic Circle |
| 7 | Phantasmal Killer, Conjure Minor Elementals |
| 9 | Conjure Elemental, Creation |
| 17 | Wish |
Level 3: Primordial Vessel
Your patron grants you a vessel with which to harness the raw power of the elemental chaos. It is a tiny object, and you can use it as a Spellcasting Focus for your Warlock spells. You determine its form by rolling on the Primordial Vessel table or by choosing one.
Vessel Statistics. The vessel has an AC equal to your spell save DC and hit points equal to your Warlock level. The vessel is immune to poison and psychic damage.
Bottled Respite. While holding the vessel, you can use a Magic action to vanish and enter your primordial vessel. The vessel remains in the space you last occupied unless it is moved by some outside force. You remain in the vessel for a number of hours equal to your Warlock level or until the vessel is destroyed or you die. You can also use a bonus action to exit the vessel early. When you exit the vessel, you appear in the nearest unoccupied space to it. Once you exit the vessel, you cannot enter it again until you finish a long rest.
Noble Comforts. The interior of the vessel is an extradimensional space in the shape of a 20-foot-radius, 20-feet-high cylinder. The interior of the vessel resembles your vessel's exterior, though it has decorations reminiscent of the vessel's decorations (such as cushions and low tables), and remains at a comfortable temperature regardless of the environment outside.
Extraplanar Storage. You can store objects in the vessel. Any objects not worn or carried on your person when you exit the vessel remain in the vessel until you carry them out. If the vessel is destroyed, the objects stored within appear harmlessly in the nearest unoccupied spaces closest to where the vessel formerly was.
Listening Servant. While within the vessel, you are able to hear as though you were in the space the vessel occupies.
If you lose the vessel, you can perform a 1-hour ceremony to request a replacement from your patron. This ceremony can be performed during a Short or Long Rest, and it destroys the previous vessel.
| 1d6 | Vessel Form |
|---|---|
| 1 | A decorated oil lamp with iconography of your patron's domain |
| 2 | An urn decorated with stones matching your patron's home plane |
| 3 | A ring inlaid with gemstones which conceal a compartment |
| 4 | An iron flask decorated with enameled murals |
| 5 | A hollow statuette or figurine depicting your patron |
| 6 | An ornate lantern with stained glass iconography of your patron |
Level 6: Elemental Gift
Your Primordial Vessel now serves as a conduit for your Patron's energy. While using your Primordial Vessel as a Spellcasting Focus for your Warlock spells, you gain the following benefits.
Primordial Wrath. Once per turn, when you cast a spell that deals Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Thunder damage, you may add your Charisma modifier to the damage of that spell for one of the spell's targets.
Genie's Skin. Your form begins to take on the appearance of a noble genie. Choose one damage type from among Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Thunder whenever you finish a Short or Long Rest. You have Resistance to that damage type until you choose a different one with this feature.
Level 10: Vessel of Noble Virtue
Your patron imbues your spirit with elemental energy such that you might further serve them. You gain the following benefits.
Sanctuary Vessel. When you enter your Primordial Vessel using your Bottled Respite feature, you can choose up to five willing creatures within 30 feet of you to enter the vessel as well. Anyone who remains within the vessel for at least 10 minutes gains the benefits of a Short rest. Should a creature spend Hit Dice as part of this short rest, they can add your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) to the number of hit points they regain.
As a bonus action, you can expel a creature from your vessel. Should you leave, die, or the vessel is destroyed, all creatures within are expelled from the vessel as well.
Flight of the Noble Spirit. As a bonus action, you can cause primordial energy from your vessel to swirl beneath you and lift you into the air. The energy lasts for 10 minutes or until you dismiss it (no action required). For the duration, you have a flying speed of 30 feet, with which you can hover. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
